Amara hugs, honey. Its horrible, and you need to rest and go easy on yourself. I went back to work after a week and it took my mind off it.
However today, the midwife rang for my 16 week appointment to find out where I was, the hospital had forgotten to cancel it. That set me back a bit. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Hello people.
Amara - so sorry for you. What an awful thing to happen.
Please allow yourself to grieve and feel sad. You can also rant as much as you like here; everyone is kind and understanding. I'll certainly be thinking of you.
gratefulforhelp - poor you. I bet you felt like throwing the phone out of the window. It's amazing how small things can be the hardest to cope with.
Best wishes to everyone

Hi Amara, so sorry for your loss. My last m/c was in January and I still feel like I'm not right mentally. I hate feeling like this when I have so much to be grateful for but I can't seem to snap out of it for very long
GFH, the same thing happened to me - I kind of assumed that my GP or the EPU would let the midwives office know what had happened but obviously not. Sending you hugs xxxx0 -

So sorry for your loss Amara. I too miscarried 2 weeks ago and I'm still off work. Physically I feel a lot better but my emotions are all over the place. Some days I can't stand the sight of my husband but other days I feel normal
It takes time to get over something like this and as Lauralou said go to your Dr and see if you can take off to give yourself the time you need to recuperate emotionally.
We are going down West Wales for 4 days on Fri all paid for by the federation in work as part of our recuperation so thats helped us a great deal. We are all looking forward to it.
Poor GFH that's awful no wonder it's set you back. Thinking of you xxLittle Miss Chatterbox

Hi my baby was due today, so I should be a mum again. Is a weird feeling. I made a little something to mark the day, a little memory.
Im still sad, not sure I want to put myself through the pain again.0
