Thanks, guys.
When i went to the epu and had a scan i was only 6weeks so they said it could be hard to tell so they sent me for blood test and they could detect my HCG levels and they said they were low so thats why i had to do another pg test.0 -

I would assume they check HCG levels especially as they didn't do any kind of pregnancy test even if it was just to confirm you are actually pregnant. One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Well I asked my midwife how did they know someone wasn't pretending to be pg, and she said they didn't really, just found out at the scan! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

I have had 3 miscarriages and 4 children. Of my first 6 pregnancies all were classed as threatened abortion due to spotting and bleeding up to 14 weeks. I have never had morning sickness or felt pregnant in the early stages of any of my pregnancies so it was always a very anxious time for me. My third child was born with a rare medical condition called VACTERL Association and I had my third miscarriage following her. The doctors agreed to do tests after this which revealed I have an antibody which is borderline meaning it can go up which is known to cause the destruction of the placenta. I had to take extra mcg of folic acid when trying again and then immediately I got a positive pregnancy test was to take 75 mg aspirin daily until 36 weeks. This time no spotting or bleeding - I couldn't believe it - I wish they could have done this test after my first miscarriage so I didn't have to go through all the grief.0

I didn't have spotting in my last pg though (mc at 11 weeks, baby stopped at 10 weeks).0 -
Poor you, lap you have really been through it.
QQ careful with the dose of aspirin, if you do. Too much could have the opposite effect...and crikey you're up late! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
It's difficult to possibly comprehend. But I am a true believer if you think of sex as "I'm going to get pregnant this time" it puts too much pressure on you and your partner.
There maybe something in the wife's tails of legs in the air afterwards, checking your temperature and ovulation kits... etc
My tip:
Just do it regularly, spontaniously, and be relaxed. Eat healthily and think positively.
And for those with a good husband ask for a back massage first. Try variating the times you do it too.
Good thinks go to those who think on the bright side.

I miscarried my baby 2 weeks ago. 10 weeks. Everything was fine and suddenly I started to bleed and I lost my baby. My first pregnancy. It has happen in wendsday night, in monday I was back at work. Sometimes I think was it worth it, I mean coming back to work soon. I feel fairly well physically, but I want to scream. My mental state is not allright. I'm 33 now. It took us a while to conceive , although without any treatments, I'm afraid it will be harder now. My mum had m/c before she had me, but she already had my brother and was 27 at the time. I'm sad and confused. I've never been a very maternal person and I thought I'll be fine without childern, but have it and lost it is just awful.0

amara- im sorry to hear your news. It really is a horrible thing to go through. If you feel you can not carry on at work then go to your doctor and explain that you do not feel fit enough too work. With my 2nd mc my doctor signed me off work for 2weeks and said if after that 2 weeks i still don't feel up to work he would wright me another sick note. Hope that helps0
