How are you feeling today?
I'm having a very tearful day today Hubs just asked if I wanted anything and I asked for a big hug which did me wonders. I think I sobbed on his shoulder for 10 mins but really needed to do it x
Sorry you're feeling grotty, honey. We're having a quiet day too. I had a similar experience to you, tried to manage at home but lost so much blood was dizzy and they told us to go in. Nice doc who knew I really have a phobia of general anaesthetics said would watch and wait then let me out as he thought the worst was over.
I expect the anaesthetic hasn't done wonders for you mood, apart from the obvious reason to feel sad and low. You've had the worst of both worlds I think.
Lots and lots of hugs. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
I know exactly what you're going through when my wife miscarried after 18 months of trying.
I still have a knot in my stomach thinking about it, and will always remember my first ride in an ambulance.
There were lots of words of wisdom, 'nature's way', 'it just wasn't meant to be'...
Oddly the comfort I got is when I found out how frequent it occurs (1 in 4 pregnancies result in miscarriage) 1/4!!
If I'd known this beforehand it would have made the blow a little softer.
Remember most of the time it wont be something you've done per say.
The only other thing I can add even if you miscarry a number of times, it's proof you can get pregnant just you're unlucky.
My wife did manage to get pregnant a few months later and we have a wonderful daughter now, which wouldn't have existed if this 'event' hadn't happened, and we wouldn't replace her for the world.
Keep trying and best of luck.0 -

Shelley Hope you are feeling a lot better, glad you got a big hug off OH, i remember i spent all evening just holding onto him, and not wanting him to go anywhere even to the kitchen to get me a drink:rotfl:!!
Delain thanks for sharing your story. *in an non stalking way* i was reading through the pregnancy thread and see you live in the poole/bournemouth area, so do i!!:)
pwpevans thanks, gives us all hope.
I do believe mc's are more common then we think. As i think some people may just think that there period is late and may not even realise they were pg, i dont think i would off done with the first or last one if i hadnt off done a test.0 -

I found that having a hug from my hubby just made me feel so much better after my erpc/D&C - make sure you keep hugging as you will have good and bad days.
Pwpevans - thank you for sharing your story its hearing of those who have gone on to have successful pregnancies that keeps me going in trying to concieve again. One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
