Just checking in on everyone - hope you are all doing well :)

I would have been 25 weeks tomorrow. Can't believe how quick time has gone since MC. For myself, i have decided to go back on the pill for a bit - myself and my OH have decided to have a little holiday and have also found out I have a thyroid issue that needs sorting - doctor thinks this was contributing factor to mc. thankfully am on tablets now so just letting them get into the system and get my health back before we start trying again xx
  • I feel really low today too .... 4 miscarriages in 18 months has almost broken me and I'm the wrong side of 40 too ... feel like doing a forest gump and just keep running ( well would if didn't feel so rubbish physically too lol ) ... hugs everyone xx

I'm so sorry. You must be physically and emotionally exhausted. I don't know what to suggest but send you a big hug.

Just started my first AF after losing Dale. In a way, it's a new start, but I'm also really down about it, not to mention my hormones still haven't equalised yet, so I'm all over the place with my emotions and I'm extremely touchy tonight. I've already warned DH, and I really hope that I can keep from snapping at him and ending up crying tonight. :(

Major hugs to everyone here, I think we all need them.

AF is good but I can understand how it would be upsetting.

Apologise if this is insensative but are you trying again Mrs_T_M?x

We are trying again already. I haven't heard anything from the consultants office yet about my follow up appointment and it's been over 5 weeks now. Suppose that I'll have to do something I hate and use the telephone to try and figure out who to call to get something sorted.

At least now I think I know where I am in my cycle and not going around on tiptoes because I don't have a clue when AF will start like I've been doing this past week. Only had two weeks bleed free though. :(

I think the first period can be a bit funny. I do hope the cycle settles.

I am not sure how long you would have to wait for a consultant to contact you with your follow up appointment, I understand it will be hard to phone but will be worth calling.

You really are never far from my thoughts. I do hope your still cross stitching - your works are lovely.

Assuming you haven't been given a specific phone number, if you know the name of your consultant I would phone the switchboard and ask to be put through to your consultant's secretary. It's definitely worth phoning to chase it up if you haven't heard anything - I kept putting off chasing mine because I hate phone calls and it ended up being thirteen weeks in the end (and that was with chasing it up) and I felt much better once I'd had it.
