Mrs TM - you are an inspiration to us with the way you have coped but above all else, I wanted to give you a hug. I can't imagine how you and your HB are feeling but wanted you to know that we care and are thinking of you.
AFM - I'm back to work today having had a week off which was quite surreal - I've only ever had 3 days off sick in 18 years of working full time so to have to take 8 days off work is a bit strange but I quite liked it too. Apparently, I look really good and the rest was obviously needed.
I have told colleagues what happened as they all believed I was off with a virus - I really don't mind who knows - it's not a taboo subject as far as I'm concerned and surprisingly, many colleagues have confirmed that they've been affected by miscarriage or their wifes have. Everybody has been so sympathetic which has been nice but shocked that it was triplets!!!
Can anybody give me any idea how long the bleeding might last - had ERPC on Thurs 23rd Jan, bleeding tailed off last week with just discharge but has started again this morning plus am feeling a little crampy today.
Hugs to all
Love Gelly

Gelly I'm afraid there is no hard and fast rule to the bleeding. After my erpc (2nd mc) I bled for 3 months, but there are ladies on here who only bled for a week or so. After I lost the twins I bled for a week then nothing for 3 months!
If the bleeding smells offensive or has clots or is painful then get checked out.
Hugs to all those that need them, Mrs TM especially XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thanks so much PLMBL - the bleeding has stopped again but it's back to brown discharge which I've had for a few days now.
We've decided to go down the NTNP route at the moment - it's the only thing I can think about and I'm holding onto the hope that fertility is meant to be increased after miscarriage so we hope it doesn't take to long to get a BFP again soon.

Mrs_T_M - I have been thinking about you lots. You didn't abondon Dale at all. I do hope you and your husband find some comfort.
After my ERPC I bled for about a week or so. It stopped and I got a negative on a pregnancy test. They told me to check.3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

That's what DH and I have decided to do for 6 months or so. If we still don't catch during that time, we will start actively trying again. I'll still be tracking things, just not stressing over them.Mrs_T_M - I have been thinking about you lots. You didn't abandon Dale at all. I do hope you and your husband find some comfort.

*hugs* I'm doing a bit better today. Suppose that downing the entire pint of Magnum vanilla and chocolate ice cream was pretty good mood medicine! I've signed up to to the new Clearblue study, which is two new pregnancy tests, plus one regular one to verify pregnancy status. Once I get them, I'll have 2-3 weeks to return them, so we will see what happens. If it's negative, I'll know that everything has left my system. If it's positive, I'll do another test a week or two later (cheap one though, I'll be ordering more ic's sometime).0 -
Gelly the bleeding could have started up again today because you went back to work and did too much- take things easy, you've been through a lot x x
Mrs TM been thinking of you, sorry to hear you've been having bad thoughts, it's only natural to miss him so much. Take good care of yourself and put yourself first as well- it's fantastic that you're doing such a wonderfully generous thing in donating milk but don't force yourself to keep going if it no longer feels right to do it, especially if it interferes with your cycle returning for ttc again. The ice cream sounds very tasty nom nom. I have a 'thing' for chocolate cookies.....nom nom nom nom. the trial sounds good, sure they have done trials before? I used a First response as my first tests and clearblue - the First response tests show so early!3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

I'm putting myself first, although it feels strange to do so. I've stopped fighting the 'milk let down feeling' and just let the emotions wash over me this morning. It was actually quite nice and comforting. I'm also drinking coffee, which I think is helping. The ice cream sounds very tasty nom nom. I participated in the trial for their new CBFM, and these are two new (possibly) pregnancy tests. I'm not allowed to give away any details, but I'm supposed to use them both in one day, one in the morning, one in the evening, then verify with the one they send that's already on the market. I think they're just seeing how easy they are to use. Companies need to make things 'idiot proof' nowadays. :rotfl:
I'm not complaining! I'll get another Love to Shop voucher that I can save and use for baby stuff when we need it.0 -
Gelly I had bleeding for about 2 days after my erpc then spotting for about a week, then period 7 weeks later. Its really like what PLMBL said though everyone is very different x0

Feel completely lost today and feel sick. I don't know what to do with my life or future now, since it feels that it's all been ripped away from me. Went to the GP last night and discovered that my anti depressants can cause heart defects when taken during pregnancy. DH already has a congenital heart defect that can be hereditary, so we don't need both of those chances/risks. I'm still feeling what feels like movement where my bump was, and even though I'm back into my biggest trousers, it feels like my uterus is still enlarged and hard.
I feel like I'm at the point of 'I just don't care any more, I just want it to stop hurting.' There's nothing I can do to stop it though. If I go out for a walk to try and clear my head, there are babies or pregnant women everywhere I look, and if I stay inside, all I can see is things that remind me of Dale, even though we've put everything we can away. I've stayed in today and slept most of the day. Even my sleep is extremely broken and erratic now, with every dream either scaring me or making me relive the miscarriage.
I need a break from all of this, but I don't have a way to get one. Even the tiniest thing can set me off now, and DH is at a complete loss of even how to comfort me now.
Thanks for letting me get this out.0
