Goppers for me the worst nightmare was the idea of being put to sleep in hospital too, I was hysterical about it, but in the end the weirdest thing was that the GA ended up being the best thing in the entire miscarriage! It made me feel soo happy when I woke up it was really nice but bizarre! It was like for the 10 mins when I was waking up all the sad feelings had gone. Wish I could bottle that feeling!0

So sorry to see new faces on this thread, hugs to everyone struggling right now.
I don't have any experience of the different ways of managing m/c (mine started at home and just sorted itself out - suppose I should be grateful for that!) I hope that whatever you all choose in the end it goes smoothly and that you're feeling better soon.
Hugs to you all x.0 -
Pheonix7- I had an ERPC at the beginning of August and fell in my first cycle after hense my posting on the other thread.
My operation was fine but I was poorly after due to an allergic reaction to an anti-sickness drug. My EPRC went to be expected and I did not find I was in any major pain. I bled for a few weeks about 2 and then nothing.
I could not have medical management but I do think the ERPC prevents the pain of contracting and seeing clots etc, wondering what they are.
I guess it is personal choice but I was glad with my choice just angry and upset it ever had to be that way.
I am starting to really worry about my 12 week scan on Monday. The thought of it makes me want to vomit. I already want to vomit so its doubley hard not too.
I want to remain positive but there is this part of my mind that won't let myself get carried away.
I hope I am normal - it just seems to have crept up and when I was only a few weeks gone the time went so slow.
Hugs to you all, thread has been busy again3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Sam I felt like that too. My 20 week scan is tomorrow and I'm still sick and so again like you I feel doubly sick again!0

I hope your 20 week scan goes well and you manage not to be sick.
I am glad someone else feels it too. x3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Started bleeding this morning
I'm going to ring the EPAU tomorrow (haven't had a chance today as we've been at my SILs wedding) but am guessing I'll still go for the scan on Monday, to check that all is ok or something?
Anyone who has had a 'natural' miscarriage, please can I ask roughly how long this is going to take? Or is it as long as a piece of string?0 -

Not sure about the process I'm afraid. When I had my early miscarriage (5-6 weeks) I had bleeding for about 10 days. They did a scan when I went to the early pregnancy unit and there wasn't anything there. They did blood tests then and again 2 days later to check that the hormone levels were decreasing.
Hope you're OK.0 -
Oh Phoenix7 - sorry you have started bleeding.
My friend had one and it was about 5 days. I am sure she had a scan after to check all the pregnancy had gone because of infection but I am not sure they do this all the time.
Hugs to you, especially as you have been at a wedding all day.

I'm OK thanks. I have yet another infection (I don't think I've been free of them since June) but will see what the GP can suggest tomorrow.
Had 3 pregnancy announcements in the last few weeks - I'm really happy for each of them, but still a bit sad for me.
However, I have a girls weekend next week, so very much looking forward to that0
