Well it's now booked for Thursday. I've got to go in tomorrow for pre-op stuff, consent forms etc, then back on Thursday for ERPC.

All they did with me was take my blood to get my blood type - dont know why they couldnt use the result Id had taken at my booking in appt! And took swab from my mouth and nose for mrsa. And took my blood pressure and pulse. But nothing to worry about.

The lead up to it all was so much worse for me than the operation itself. I know that sounds silly I mean you're asleep, but I was so anxious and terrified in the 4 day wait/decision making, and then once it was done, I was just so relieved in that aspect that I wasn't 'waiting' anymore.

It almost seems surreal now Ive even had it done, as Im such a wimp with anything medical.

I'm alright thanks Lara. Had to be at hospital for 10:30am but they said I'd probably have a bit of a wait. Four hours later the nurse did the pre-op stuff, blood pressure, pulse, bit of blood etc. Then saw doctor for going through the procedure and consent forms etc. I've got to be back on the ward tomorrow at 7am and ERPC will be around 8:30ish. Then hanging around for four hours or so to make sure I'm ok. I'm getting a bit nervous now but I'm sure all will be ok. Xx
