Its a horrible stage this MrsTM - not knowing whether to be hopeful or start grieving and obviously being so unwell with the sickness etc will make it much harder physically for you.

I found occupying my mind helped take away the thoughts that constantly cycled around my head. So something like jigsaws, crosswords, puzzles, sewing, knitting etc - something just to try and occupy your brain.

Cry when you need to cry, and sleep when you need to sleep.

Its a clich! as well - but be kind to yourself. Sending lots of hugs your way xx

    Hi Mrs TM

As a regular lurker on the TTC and <12 weeks threads, I've followed your journey and I'm very sorry to see you here. Hope things turn out well for you after all. I'm glad you spoke to your mum, at least she's in the picture and knows what you're going through.

Try not to panic (ha!) and I hope you'll feel a bit less anxious soon. Bear in mind that nothing is TMI here and also that you have lots of support on the various threads.

    Best wishes

    MsB x

    It's terrible you're in limbo mrs t m.

I hope this was just some random bleeding. Try to rest and just watch bad tv or something to take your mind off for 5 seconds if you can at all.

    Xx

We have the tv on (on football unfortunately), I'm laying on the matteress on the floor (quite comfy actually!) and DH is sitting on the sofa and we have two tiny bunnies who are trying to figure out what the huge marshmallow is in the middle of their room and why mommy is laying on it. I have a feeling I'll get ran over by a bunny shortly! We originally got them as therapy bunnies for my depression, but they are useful for much more than just depression!

  • ncsmummy, I've alwas found the build up to my due dates harder than the actual day although I appreciate that may not be the case with Christmas day. Have you thought about doing something to commemorate the day? I planted rhododendrons for my baby that was due in May, as that's when they flower every year. For my first loss I lit a candle and I'm yet to decide what to do for my twins that were due this Feb. I like the fact that I'm doing something 'for them'.
Me too - in some ways I'd say that I've found the actual day much easier than the preceding days.
  • Mrs_T_M, I hope all turns out to be well - it's so difficult when you are stuck in limbo not knowing for sure one way or another.

Oh no, Mrs TM I am so sorry to hear what you're going through. Huge, huge hugs. I hope you can get a speedy referral for a scan to tell what's going on. I can only echo the other advice here, just take care of yourself. OH and I watched loads of films and just put the time until we had an appointment at the Emergency Gynae Unit. Thinking of you xx

Hugs to you ncsmummy, so sorry you are feeling down xx

With all the bad news on the less the 12 weeks pregnant thread I am now a wreck with worry. Being pregnant is supposed to fill you with excitement but all I am filled with is dread and I am so frightend.
I think what makes it worse is I had no signs anything was up. Which scares me even more.

    Hope everyone else is ok.

    xx

:( I know how you feel, think I might take a break from that thread for a while. I was daring to feel slightly positive about how things were going but now I'm just feeling scared again.
