Mine started by bleeding that time too Claire. Lots came away by itself but it was just blood clots not tissue. It's amazing how much is actually in there!! I hope she gets sorted soon. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I was given the medical management option but I was advised against it and I didn't want it so the only other option was the ERPC. I wasn't allowed to leave it.
I know it might sound odd but even thinking someone else is suffering the way I did just makes me feel very emotional. Even if I don't know them. Female to female I guess we all feel that pain if we have been through it.
Hope your friend recovers as well as she can claire16c.
PLMBL - have you had any results at all? Or will a Consultant deliver them?
Air cooled 75 - So sorry they didn't test. I hope you get some comfort with the Consultant.

I feel the same Sam, it's like a club where you don't want anyone else to join but you have such a close bond with anyone who does.
How did the scan go yesterday?
I haven't had any results and that has got me wondering if it's bad news/too complicated to deliver by letter. Trying not to think too much about it, I'll know for sure on Wed. Still no AF either XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Was all good thank you. Felt so sick going in with nerves but also sick sick I think the Sonographer was worried I was going to vomit on her!
Baby was measuring on dates and moving around a little, moved arms and legs and its back kind of like a body pop lol. She was really nice and said based on what had happened to me before she would look first herself and then turn on the monitor so that I could see. I agreed and that was just perfect. I am now further than I got before so I feel some comfort in that, but know I am still have two weeks to go until 12 weeks so I need to remain positive and strong. And then I guess to the next hurdles!
Lady was having one of those 3D/ 4D scans and was going off on one that she had to keep walking around and drinking as her daughter was 'not playing ball'. I was thinking well I would like to even get there to be honest and I know many women who would just like to get pregnant again. I spoke to the receptionist whilst I was waiting and she said as good as those scans are some people are actually disappointed with what the image quality is because the placenta is generally always in the picture somehow and people get funny. My thoughts on that were well it is a rather vital piece of equipment that is what keeps your baby alive. For some I guess miscarriage and the heart ache has never been upon them so maybe don't think about what they are saying?
I understand writing about a scan on a miscarriage thread is a little well sad for some and if anyone has offence I am more than happy to remove it. I don't want to upset anyone3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

I for one enjoyed reading about your scan experience and I'm pleased all was ok.
I'll see what Consultant says on Wed. In some ways I don't want to take anything to start it off, if there's a problem I'd rather know than cover it up if you see what I mean. I'll only know if there is a problem or not by seeing the course nature takes XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

This happens in all areas of pregnancy and all walks of life. I can guarantee that nobody on the big pregnancy thread has even considered that their baby may die during labour and that they may not get to bring him/her home. Many of them have continuously complained about the various aches and pains they're experiencing, or other trivial things - going overdue etc, but it's all about perspective and I certainly don't begrudge any of them for saying it. That most parents will never know the pain of loosing a child in the way that I did is a good thing. Pregnancy should be enjoyed by those who have no reason not to and it is of great benefit to many to be able to have a little whinge from time to time.
Whenever I start to feel the rage I always remind myself that there is someone worse off. I am 3 years on from my nightmare and it is easier than it was. For some poor woman somewhere that journey will just be starting.14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
That is so true Lilymay. Although we would never choose suffering, as the anger recedes it does bring a lot of perspective.
I hope that you have the best birth experience possible.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Well said Lilymay1. Everyone has their own journey. Just some are way more bumpy.
