I never had any major cramps, or a huge loss of blood, just a little discomfort, and the spotting turned from brown to bloody. So it was a massive shock when I passed my baby complete, nothing quite prepares you for that, I freaked out, as I was home alone. I was told to look out for clots!! I was surprised at the size actually. My bleeding is coming to an end, and my body is returning to normal, in a few days physically it will be like my pregnancy never happen, but emotionally I don't think I'm ever going to be the same again.
Huge hugs (((((((((((Snipzy))))))))))))
my 2nd M/c was very much the same, home alone, no pain etc. i was absolutely devastated. i was going to tell you it does get easier (although you never ever forget) but i know that's not what you want to hear right now - so just know you have loads of people thinking of you xxxCan you see the mountains through the fog?0 -
So sorry Snipzy...there are no words of comfort, it's absolutely one of the sh*ttiest things that can happen to a woman. I'm 2 months on from my mc and I cried my eyes out again last night.
Take care and remember everyone here has been through it and are here to support you XMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Thank you all for your support.
I am struggling a bit but I suppose that's only normal. I feel a little spaced out, is that shock? I haven't eaten for 2 days now and I know that isn't good for me, but I have no appetite whatsoever, I am drinking though. How long do you bleed for afterwards? Is it different for everyone?Murphy's No More Pies Club member # 140 - lost 40 lbs

Hey everyone
Just wanted to say that it does get easier and one day it won't be so raw and painful.
I miscarried at 12 weeks in November 2007. Today, I've just got my positive pregnancy test and can't describe how utterly amazing it feels and I am going to make sure I treasure every single moment.
Good luck and take care everybody x0 -

Hi Snipzy, so sorry for your loss. I hope reading through some of our experiences on here will help a bit, or at least make you feel a bit less alone. Time does heal, although as others have said you never forget
Can't believe it's been 2 months MV, where has that time gone? I still shed a tear at the unfairness of it all, the lady that would have been due the same time as I would have been, had I not had my first m/c went on maternity leave last week, and when I saw her sitting there with her desk surrounded by balloons and presents I couldn't help thinking "it should be me":( I know I've got the due date to deal with in May and that's going to be awful. I mentioned it to OH the other day, and his opinion is that the baby would never have been born, so therefore I shouldn't think about the due date. You can imagine what I said to that :mad: Men!!!!!!!!!
Sorry this has turned into a bit of a rant! Feeling sorry for myself today for some reason.
Hope you guys are all well xxxx0 -
Just thought i should let you ladies know that I got my bfp this morning, in a little bit of shock and unsure how to think, but it is all good and wonderful and helps continue the healing process. Take care allLeopardlady
