Sorry GG that you are in such limbo at the moment. I do hope that it isn't as it seems. Lots of love coming your way.

Nicki, it is so hard when things like that happen. I remember when I read that a miscarriage was medically called an abortion and I was inconsolable. It is such a hard term when the baby was/is so badly wanted.

Greener Grass hope you are ok.

Clare, that is a such a shame about the cyst. I hope they can get it sorted quickly for you if thats what you choose to do.

I feel very high and then low at the moment. Ive got my first period after the miscarriage which is a miracle in itself really as they said to expect it 4-6 weeks after the ERPC if you have regular periods and its been just over 5, and I have irregular ones so I am very pleased. I also know when I ovulated and it was quicker than on some normal cycles! So Im happy about that as I read some stories of some ladies not getting it for months which i was scared about.

No telling what will happen this cycle, but at least its one thing I was worrying about out of the way. Ive also put on 5 pounds in the past 5 weeks which is good as it was the weight I lost from stress which I didnt need to loose.

Spent the weekend with my best friends 8 week old baby which went way better than I thought, I spent so much time cuddling her and it didnt upset me in the slightest. I just want my own one now.

Its weird one minute Im so happy thinking about ttcing and hopefully getting pregnant again, and then I feel really depressed because I think 'No, hang on Im supposed to be pregnant NOW. What happened with that? Was it a dream?'

It feels like I imagined the entire thing. And it ended in some awful nightmare.

Im a very skeptical person but I do have a weird thing where I dream things that come true - like the miscarriage for one, but last night I had a dream about a baby on an ultrasound screen and it was really healthy and waving. I know that sounds silly but it just kind of comforted me as perhaps its a good sign of things to come. Just grasping at anything to stay positive really!

    Big hugs Skint.

The only thing I can think of, is that now you have the information about how to make your next pregnancy sucessful, which you didnt have before, correct? So luck is on your side now.

I have a fear of never being able to have children. We dont have a big enough mortgage deposit to buy a house right now anyway but there is no way Im buying one until weve had a child because in my eyes, that fund is also savings if we had to ever go down a route like ivf. It makes me feel like my whole life is on hold until weve had a baby sometimes.

GG i hope today's test shows a massive increase in HcG and you can relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy :)

Skint lots of love, although i agree with Claire, i think you're actually closer to another forever baby

Nicki big hugs for you too, it's never nice to see it put so clinically :(

Claire it's a major fear of mine but i've consoled myself with the knowledge that my tubes are clear (thank goodness) so IUI is a possibility and that is a lot cheaper than IVF, i was really suprised to see the clinics near me do it for about 1K which is a lot of money but seven times less than IVF costs so i always think i can have 7 goes of that with the same chances for the same price!

    love to all x

How does IUI work? I'm hoping my tubes should be fine if I got pregnant but I still worry it won't happen again so I'm paranoid about planning for the future just incase. And yes that is a lot cheaper!!

IUI stands for IntraUterineInsemination, basically they scan you and scan you and scan you til you're juuuust ready to ovulate (either naturally or through induction like clomid) then your DH does his thing in a cup, they 'wash' it to get the best ones, and then stick them as close to your filopian tube as possible.

On my first proper cycle after the mc now. I had the shortest lightest period lasting all of 2 days I was really suprised. I was worried it was going to be really bad.

So back to the baby making now. I cant believe it was about 18 months ago we decided to ttc and Im no further on. I know thats not long compared to a lot of people and within those 18 months we stopped for about 7, but I just never imagined when we started back then we wouldnt have a baby or be pregnant now.

Going to hopefully book a 3 night break to Venice for the end of feb, as I found a 4 star hotel with flights for only £350 for both of us and think we need a break even if it just rains when we are there just want to get away for a nice weekend!
