  • Thanks for being hopeful, but had a bright red wipe yesterday :-(
Scan booked for Monday am, so at least I'll know for sure then.

If i do a cheapy internet test, would the line be lighter if i am mc than on Sun when I did a test (to check it was getting darker!)

Hi Toooldforthis, I know what its like seeing all the babies, theres one at my sons school born on my due date of my first mc. Gets me every time i see her. I hope you have someone to help you xx

Lines can get lighter but to be honest the line can be dark or light depending on how much dye is on that particular test anyway, I really wouldn't use tests as a guide to whether you are miscarrying or not.

I know how hard it is waiting for a scan. I think it's a disgrace that we can;t get scanned same day; the worrying is awful and waiting four days is outrageous IMO.

Bright red is obviously not a good sign, but if it's only one wipe then there is still hope. I don't want to give you false hope, because cramps and red blood are not a good sign, but if it's not getting worse then it can be OK.

I had a friend who bled copiously every four weeks while pregnant. She didn't get any cramps but literally had a period every month! If she hadn;t known she was pregnant she'd have thought that she wasn't IYSWIM.

Keep posting here MMM, we can help you through to your scan. I'm really praying your bubba is OK.

TooOld, I know that feeling. My last angel baby would have been due the weekend just gone, and yesterday I got a baby announcement from an old friend saying her baby was born the same day :( And she knew when I would have been due! People are insensitive sometimes and it is such a hard time when babies would have been due. Hard to think I should have a newborn right now :(

  • Thank Skintchick,

    We were pg together before.
I was pg jan 2010, mc March.
Pg April 10, then threatened mc for about 2 months (sac coming away, a few days of bleeding, was never looking good, several scans saying the same)
Well that pg became the 1year old who is trashing my lounge right now! So i know it can go either way. Just having problems on this 3rd time means I'm always going to have difficulties, and the upset of will it wont it :-(

Not got any symptoms now, and I just know if it is there, with its little HB it'll be the same 2months of 'it just hanging on' (sonographers words) where I think a sneeze makes it all over! Xxx

be thinking of you MSM, have you considered a private scan? maybe they could fit you in quicker. the EPU in my area is a walk in clinic and though it's awful to sit and wait in a room full of other worried ladies at least you can get seen the same day as long as you wait for hours x

  • Thank you both,

They said to wait until 6 weeks to see anything. Its not getting to me anywhere near as bad as the last 2. Just frustrated waiting, and upset for when/if the mc actually happens. Just been told off by OH from not taking vitamins last few days. I bought loads of fresh veg & fruit juice but cant face being healthy now!

Just brown wipes today, i'm going through the whole mc colour chart!

Hi MSM, I had some light bleeding at week 5, got scanned and they found I had an internal bruise. I kept bleeding on and off for 5 weeks and scans seemed to make it worse. Unfortunately I did MC but I don't think that had anything to do with the bruise/bleeding.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

toooldforthis - I am dreading July too (unless Im pregnant by then in which case it will be a lot easier). The due date was 4th July so now any reference to Indepedance day on a film or something reminds me of it.
