    good luck for tomorrow Fran-o.

Anyname, I think your symptoms were probably real, it's just that once the baby and placenta have gone then they do drop off very quickly.

Don;t do too much though, you sound like you might be overdoing it. Try and be kind to yourself.

Waah - first day back at work and arrived in tears, attack of nerves I think! (Male) boss managed not to freak out and swapped desks with me so I could have his quiet space. Feel much better now but hiding away and will aim to leave early to avoid rush hour crush (I commute from suburbs to central london).

I had a massive wobble on the first day back too Fran-O. Lots of nerves and tears. The second day back I didn't make it in - had a mini melt down. But after then it got easier and easier each day. It felt sad to be getting back to normal tho in a wierd way.

Sounds like you have a lovely considerate boss tho. Makes a big difference when people are kind and helpful to your recovery I think.

Big hugs for a rubbish day.

I had a big wobble yesterday too :( 6 months post ERPC and no BFP yet :( Thought I could see a line, n tried photographing it and enlarging it on the PC. Think I am turning in to one of them nut jobs from bump&baby :o:o:o Just want it so bad and each month it gets harder and harder. Add to that my body is playing silly beggars and I have no idea what is happening, it just turned into quite a sobbing and feeling sorry for myself session :o I did sort myself out tho and put some make up on and went on a date night with the hubby, which was fab.

Thanks Abi. I did 9.30-4.45 and came home shattered! Going in usual time tomorrow (9am) and will see how long I last...
Sorry to hear your day was rubbish yesterday. But date night sounds good, hubby and I need one of those! No plans for the weekend but we might go to see James Bond if its still on.

Have been doing full days at work but have worn myself out - yesterday I got home at 7 and got straight into bed :)
Boss has agreed for me to go early today, so am going to work til 3pm then head off, take care of myself at home and see if I can cook something proper for hub & me, rather than the frozen pizza/ fish and chips of the last two days. No wonder I'm getting spots!
Hope you are all keeping well. Am still very up and down in terms of energy levels and mood. Not being sociable and not keeping up at work is leading to a bit of a confidence crisis... will have to keep a check on it and remember to be kind to myself. Planning to book a weekend away for a change of scenery at the beginning of December - maybe Oxford or Bath.
Best wishes to you all. How are you doing Any Name? x

Take it easy fran-o, try not to wear yourself out just yet... I didn't tell anyone at work when it happened end of August and didn't take any time off.

I've been feeling quite down and my boss asked me to go to pub with him 2 days ago and asked me if I was happy!

Maybe I should have told him then but I didn't want to.

I'm sure it will all come out in a big sob one day!
  • can I join? :( I am meant to be 13weeks but scan was inconclusive, there was a sac but they couldn't see anything in it. Having cramps and slight loss, spoke to early pregnancy unit and they've booked another scan next week.

I've got 2 other kids who are keeping me going at the moment.

Love to everyone who needs it.
