Had my ERPC yesterday, seems that everything went ok, thats something to be pleased about I guess. I had been so worried as I started to bleed a small amount on friday and I thought they might tell me that as I had been bleeding for 3 days I could wait and let things happen naturally.
For some reason the thought of waiting for things to happen naturally really upset me, I couldn't leave the house once I started bleeding as I thought it might happen and everyone would know.
I am in a lot of pain today, i don't remember it being this painful last time (I guess I have blocked out the pain)
Hugs to everyone, hope everyone is keeping ok0 -
Hi Budget Budd, I'm glad it went ok for you. I was in more pain this time too, I took paracetamol & ibuprofen every 4 hours and it seemed to keep the worst of it at bay.
I ventured out to the shops today (literally just round the corner from my house - about 2 minutes walk) to pick up a few bits and it really wiped me out! Just made a cup of tea and am going to sit down for the rest of the day. I'm currently watching halfwits shouting on the Jeremy Kyle show, who seem to be able to breed as much as they like  I'm going to watch Homes Under The Hammer instead
Take it easy everyone xxx0 -
Nothing like a bit of Homes Under the Hammer!
The JK show drives me batty too. I cannot believe that such skanky, bottom on the gene pool nomarks can pop out child after child. Someone said it's probably because they are usually really young, but there are anamazing amount of druggies/alcoholics on there who seem to be able to breed
I hate the fact that they show the kids being fought over now too on the screen, it breaks my heart to see these poor little innocent mites who will no doubt end up the same way as their parents.
Ok rant over!
Glad your ERPC went ok Budget.
I hope everyone who has been through the mill recently is resting up lots and taking things easy xMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Erpc is booked today but we called first thing and were told there was no bed available. Have got up and showered and am waiting for a call back from the ward. No food or drink allowed so I hope they don't leave me waiting too long. Just sitting on sofa watching Obama on the news! Have left hubby in bed for a bit longer, he rarely sleeps in even on weekends, so he must need the zzzzz! If we don't get erpc today he'll need to go into work, not sure what I'll do yet.
Know what you mean about jeremy kyle show, there was a lady in the epu last week talking as if her current pregnancy was a terrible shock "I can't believe I've gone and done it again" etc. I'm sure I wasn't the only lady in the epu with bad news ready to swipe her one!fran-o0 -
Good luck fran-o, hope you're not waiting too long xxxx0

Erpc went ahead yesterday as planned, the ward called me 9ish and we were in 40 minutes later. Staff were all lovely, i was braver than I thought, only tears were in pre-theatre prep, and was home at 5pm. Felt like lots of blood yesterday (sorry tmi) but seems manageable now and tummy just a little crampy. Thanks everyone for your advice beforehand, it was all useful.
Got two days sick leave now, staying in bed this morning (surgery stockings on!) and mum is popping in for lunch. Tomorrow have arranged for a friend to pop by for morning coffee and a cheer up chat!
Love to everyone xfran-o0 -
Big hugs fran-o, hope you feel better soon, take care xx0

Need a space to rant! (Sorry)
Had a nice visit from mum and had some soup lunch and a chit chat. As she was leaving my mum says, "have you texted your sister since your op, you should let her know you're ok?". This is my sister who took 4 days to text back when I told her I had miscarried and has not been in touch since. Granted she's in Australia so time difference makes chatting tricky, but just one text in two weeks and now the emphasis on me to make contact...:eek:fran-o0 -
If your sis asks if you're ok then text back but if she doesn't then why should you have to send a text saying, "hi sis how are you, i had op, hope all is well, bye".
If a close one had an op I would be contacting them before and after to wish them well and see how it had gone.
I don't have a good relationship with my sis so she's prob only heard from my mum about what I've been through. I've not heard from her.
I have good friends who are caring and concerned for me and a lovely partner so that's all I need.0 -
Oh Fran-O, big hugs. If its not one thing its your mother...
I think the person who had been the 'least' sensitive about the whole situation is my mom. Not that she has been that bad - I think its maybe because I expect more from her in some ways, therefore when she says something hurful I take it more to heart.
Glad the ERPC went ok for you. Try n rest up as much as you can for the next few days. It takes more than you think out of you both physically and emotionallyMarried my lobster in July 2011
