Thanks all - the EPU was fine, the scan showed nothing left, my hormone levels are now very low, so it's very much over for this time. I'm still bleeding quite heavily (sorry if TMI) and have no idea how long this will go on for, but once it stops I guess we can thing about trying again...
Thanks for the support, although I wouldn't wish this on anyone it's still good to know I'm not alone.0 -
Glad to here all is fine medically speaking sweaty, as you say it's one thing ticked off the list and hopefully the bleeding wont be too much longer x x
Lemon good luck for tomorrow, sounds like you've made the right choice for you which is the best any of us can hope for. And you're right, I know it doesn't seem like it right now but you will get through this. I still visit this thread and provide as much support as I can cos you ladies need it and I hope it helps sometimes for someone to say that the heartache does fade x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Huge hugs to everyone, sadly so many new people here, I'm so sorry for you all.
A few thoughts:
No-one is a fraud for 'only' having had one mc. Any loss is awful and terrible and this thread is about support for everyone. Yes it is different when you've had multiple mcs but that's why I started the other thread, and this one is for anyone who has had a loss.
A missed mc is awful. I've had two. They are such a terrible shock when you have a scan and it's not what you expect. What I've found helpful is to ask for a picture of the baby anyway, as a momento. That was also useful when I ended up having investigations as well.
Huge hugs for everyone on here tonight.
Lemon, I hope your op goes as well as can be tomorrow. xx
Sweatybetty, the bleeding from a natural mc can go on for three weeks, so be prepared. Im so sorry this has happened to you. xx

Thinking of you today tinks, and lemonmelon, hope your erpc goes smoothly, I know mine did last time.
I'm seriously considering phoning the epu and bringing my next appointment forward, nothing is happening naturally and I'm tired of the constant gagging and nausea which i think is because my body is still full of pg hormones.
I'm worried about what to tell work when i need time off for an appointment and for a surgery. We're a small team and everyone was really supportive over the summer when i had three weeks off with my last mmc. I know when i have to tell them again they will be really supportive again, but i think everyone being really nice about it will make me feel ten times worse, I'm just about holding myself together at the moment by focussing on being busy at work.
it's a silly thing to worry about I know!
And it would be nice for OH and myself to be able to move on, I think I'm ready for some closure now.0 -
Sweaty betty, sorry you're here too, sorry for your loss x0

Tinks I will be thinking of you today. I hope it whizzes by really fast, and from the end of today you can begin to move forward again xx
Lemon also thinking of you and wishing you well x
I'm going to get my hair cut and have a bit of retail therapy today. It is DS's christening this weekend, and my hair hasn't been cut for ages!
Also going to take the opportunity that he is with the childminder today to maybe have a bit of retail therapy.

I phoned the epu, and they have said if I decide to have surgery again they can make all the arrangements over the phone. I'm going to phone my manager tomorrow and explain that I need time off for surgery again. Hopefully I can get it arranged for next week.
Have a good day MV, sometimes a bit of pampering and shopping is just what is needed!
thinking of you tink x0
