I started cramping at 6.15 this morning and the blood is now pouring out with clots so I think it is all over. The fact I could not hear the placenta with the Doppler yesterday tells me that things went wrong sometime after Thursday as I could hear it then. I am trying to catch the baby in a bowl so we can work out the gestation as that will be useful information for e recurrent miscarriage clinic which I will nw be able to be referred to.

So I am squatting over a bowl every half hour or so and checking what comes out. No baby so far but last time the baby came out first and I missed it. This time seems very different.

I may go to the scan if the bleeding isn't too bad or I may postpone it if I need to stay home and just do this.

Have had a cry but am confused because the pain is not that bad and the clots not that big, but i think it is inevitable now? I have taken codeine so I suppose that will mask the pain.

Skintchick, my heart goes out to you. There isn't anything I can say that will ease your pain so I won't try. I only hope and pray that you get answers as to why this keeps happening and that they can quickly and easily give you a solution so that you can get your forever baby. My thoughts and prayers are with you xXx

Skintchick, I am so sorry. I know it sounds weird from an internet stranger but my heart is breaking for you. Like Walby, there is nothing I can say except that I'm thinking of you and praying for you. xx

((hugs)) skintchick. What time is the scan appt? How far away is it / how would you normally get there? I think I would still try to go if possible. Some people can experience heavy bleeding and the baby still be ok, so its worth going in to check (sorry - the eternal optimist in me always says to try and stay hopeful :o). It might help to give you some answers or some support as well if you are with medical people whilst it is happening.

    Thinking of you xxxx

I am so sorry skintchick. It is hard at any point, but especially hard I think when you have almost got to the end of first tri and are starting to think that maybe this time all will be well. Life is very cruel sometimes.

I'm sorry also Maire. I somehow managed to miss your post last night. I know what a struggle it was for you to get your BFP and gave a quiet cheer when I saw you had. I hope that when you start to TTC again that it comes more quickly.

My thoughts are with you both. I haven't managed to conceive again since my loss almost a year ago now, and that has been hard, but I think it is harder still to conceive again, and more than once sometimes, and have further losses. That takes an almost superhuman strength to bear.

    Thank you all.

I don't really know what is happening. I called the EPU and they said they can give me a bed and cubicle so I don't have to wait in the waiting room, so I am going to go in.

The appointment is at 1.30 but they always take two hours to see you.

This is so different from my other miscarriages I am wondering if maybe it is a placental abruption or subchorionic bleed? But don't want toget my hopes up too much either. It is so hard.

I think that's the best thing to do skintchick, as then you will have some answers as to what it going on. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's good news.

I hope you don't mind me popping on but I recognise some of you ladies from the other threads and I just wanted to offer my support.

Skintchick / Marie - there's nothing I can say to make things any better but I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you both x

Oh Man Skintchick, thinking of you today and hoping and praying too.

Sounds like they'll be able to look after whilst waiting for the scan x
