    Hey ladies.

    How are we all doing?

Did everyone have a nice jubilee weekend?

I had a lovely time away in the motorhome. 4 nights away was just fab. Saw ones of the beacons being lit and had a party on the campsite too which was fab. I went a bit union jack crazy, but it was lots of fun :D

Felt a bit sad coming home tho as I don't have anything nice planned in, so that prompted a few tears, and also DD went straight back to her dads so that was a bit low. And then I read a letter that had arrived from Sheffield saying I am having to go on to weekly testing instead of fortnightly as my HCG levels are too high :( I had been really 'pleased' with my levels - I thought they were coming down really well considering the molar aspect. Rang them and spoke to a lovely nurse tho who calmed me down a little about it all tho. Should know a bit next week hopefully when I get the next set of results and have something to compare them too. Hopefully they will go down lots and lots

Cleofish - I've been trying to keep busy as much as possible and keep distracted. Whenever I have too much time to sit on my own I end up getting really depressed and negative. Keeping busy is definately helping with things... Cake looked fab - have we got a piccie of what you made?

Lauradora - how are you feeling now? Hope you got on ok at the docs and that yr mum and DH are behaving themselves a little more now ;) I do feel very sorry for my DH - he isn't half having to put up a lot with all my mood swings at the moment :o

I don't come onto the thread much anymore - but wanted to give you a heads up about that new song by Ed Sheeran song that's in the charts and getting a fair chunk of radio play... I found the end of it INCREDIBLY triggering - it's been responsible for me bawling my eyes out and driving through tears a couple of times now, so if you're the sort who does get upset by storylines on TV and the like - it might be a good point to flick radio stations before the final verse.

also on that note, Eastenders will be doing a very sensitive storyline and I have a sneaky feeling that Neighbours will be too.

Dizziblonde - I haven't heard it yet - but no doubt I will cry! I'm such a cry baby at the best of times, let alone now...

Cozza - I have to have my pee tested at Sheffield as thats the centre for the north. I send it through the post. I'm only about 30 miles away from there tho in East Yorkshire.

Hope you get some answers on Friday, and big hugs for your day at work.

I would have avoided the baby too. I've changed my holiday dates by 2 weeks to avoid being godmother to a baby as it was always one of the bumps/babies I was jealous over :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o How awful is that?! To be fair to myself, I aren't as close to my friend anymore as I used to be as we drifted apart when she moved away. But its still an awful thing to do. I just wanted to protect myself tho as I knew I would be a massive mess over it all. She didn't know about the pregnancy/mmc or anything.

just wanted to add some hope to the ladies on here who have suffered miscarriages, i had 8 in total and then an ectopic which resulted in me losing my tube, i resined myself to the fact i couldnt get pregnant and then i did fall pregnant, 4 times!!!!
i took evening primrose oil before i conceived to try and regulate my hormones, cant say whether that played a huge part but im sure it did.
i remember those awful feelings when i heard someone was pregnant, avoided situations with friends and their babies and all i will say is that is normal, but you just have to make sure that you dont get too bitter about things, i know that sounds hard but its the truth, as i remember feelings of bitterness, why me? etc.....but i think the hormones play a big part in that.

and most important is to look after yourself and get out and enjoy your life, your special moment WILL happen, just not when you wanted it to. i wish anyone going through this pain much love and luck, i have been there, i know the pain and heartache, and just wanted people to know it does usually all work out well in the end.xx

Yeah - I've heard of the Eastenders storyline and that's one that runs far, far too close for comfort for me recently - mind you I stopped watching it when they did that incessant baby-swap rubbish one anyway.

well just wanted to give a quick update on how friday went at the hospital they found nothing wrong but are still going to do a blueprint test on us both and a rubella test on me which will take 6-10 weeks to come back but have advised me to take 75mg of aspirin

Does anyone know of anyone who has used aspirin and it worked for them?

Cozza I know someone who was given aspirin even though the tests had come back clear and it resulted in a successful pregnancy.
