Walby, I'm sorry to hear of your loss - I think it's pretty normal to feel up and down.
Jules I had a mc at 7-8 weeks which started off as on/off spotting for a few days then I had maybe seven ish days of proper bleeding like the heaviest part of a period and with some noticeable clots later on and then it kind of tailed off so start to finish was about two weeks with one week of heavyish bleeding. I also had one that was very early (4 1/2 weeks) which was just like a normal period but a bit more clotty.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

And Jules I don't think it's stupid to want to try again. I don't think the risk of it happening again diminishes the desire for another child. I know for me my losses did not stop me wanting to try again. There have been times when I felt it was too hard and seriously considered giving up not because I didn't want another child bur because the thought of going through the same stuff again and again felt so bad. Sometimes people do get to a point where they decide it is better for them to stop trying than to continue but that is a very individual choice and neither stopping or trying again is a stupid choice. Sorry that's rather rambling - hopefully you can make some sense out of it.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

This is obviously new to you so I think you should see your GP. Don't let the receptionist fob you off, you need to have a chat with an understanding doctor and share all your worries.
Hope you are ok cozza.
Best wishes

Really having a pants day
Still bleeding and earlier had to run to loo and passed what looked like the sac, really distressing. Was ok up til that point, but suppose it means things will settle down now. Sorry for TMI!!! Just cant talk to anyone in RL

Oh Jules, it is heartbreaking when that bit happens. I was pretty lucky in that I started bleeding at about 5pm Sunday and had finished by about 5pm Monday apart from some spotting for a few days. I had some pain about 9am Monday morning and at about 11am I felt something come out of me and it was what I also assumed to be the sac. I quickly wiped myself and threw it down the loo because I didn't want to face up to the reality of what it was and then I broke down because I felt guilty for throwing it away like it was nothing. I thought about that often for several days after.
I hope this means you will stop bleeding in the next 24 hours and don't worry about TMI - you need to talk about it to deal with it emotionally. Became Mrs W in 2011:smileyhea Blessed with Baby boy 1 in 2013, Baby boy 2 in 2016 and Baby boy 3 in 2018 :smileyheaDebt @ 19/8/11 [STRIKE]£20,060 [/STRIKE] current £0Paid off 100% :dance:0 -
Walby, my experience with my first loss was the same - I was so utterly shocked at passing the sac, I was too terrified to look at it & flushed the loo very quickly. Still upsets me now
Jules, so sorry you find yourself here again. Talk to us whenever you need to vent, I check the thread most days as do othersxxxx

I'm so sorry for all the latest losses on here, I feel a bit sad whenever there are new posts ((hugs))
I sadly have just had my 3rd miscarriage in a row. It was a missed miscarriage again and I was given medical management to help me pass the sac, which I did late on Friday night. I was 9+4 weeks. I just feel so sick and tired of this really. When I got my BFP at no point did I have any expectations that it would end in a healthy baby...I just seem to have given up hope
I am 41, 42 next month and have basically been told that it is probably due to my age, and no testing has even been suggested to me. Despite the fact that my loss last summer was tested and found to have a chromosomal problem (triploidy) and that is not age related!! I guess there is no money in the nhs budget to help us older ladies to have our hearts desire....Murphy's No More Pies Club member # 140 - lost 40 lbs

I think that if you go to your GP, the NICE guidelines are that you get investigation after three mcs in a row, but you have to ask for it. So go see your GP. You're not old! Yes, I know the risks are bigger over 40 but it's not like you are 50!
Don't be fobbed off - see your GP.
