yes teamlowe, thats how i actually felt yesterday. i felt bad that i was pushing hubby away but yesterday i actually thought it was ok and it felt nice to connect. i mean we didnt go that far but it was nice. i think next time i might be ready.. am still a bit cautious as have just stopped bleeding and dont want another bleed. it is nice to be able to reconnect. I know sometimes women dont feel like it and i was worried in case i became one of those women, but i think i actually am feeling more affectionate and connecting with hubby. will life ever be normal again? x

Rups it's only for dating purposes that they say to wait (although mine didn't) but IME they go by scans anyway so no need to wait really from a dating point of view. I actually got taken by surprise by ovulation after my first mc because it was sooner than I expected (less than two weeks after bleeding stopped).

Cozza if your work think you shouldn't TTC because of time off sick then their opinion is not worth considering. People can be off sick for all sorts of reasons and you can't always predict it - my last pregnancy I was signed off work (self employed work at home) from about five weeks pregnant until six weeks after the pregnancy (so nearly six months) because of how ill I am in pregnancy and anyone can break a leg and be off for ages or anything. Even if you choose to TTC it doesn't mean you're choosing to end up off sick even if it does end up being a consequence of it. (Sorry for the long rant - I feel rather strongly because I've had a lot of judgement for choosing to try again and risk being ill again.)

that is true regarding work. I am not actually worried about it as need time off and have just told the manager i have been signed off and they have to understand!

now hubby's being funny about the dates of the next period as he heard the consultant say that! I had sent him a lovely message saying that we could try and he replied, 'how about we wait till your first period?". Lol. bless him!

    Hi.
Big hugs to anyone who needs them. Going through a miscarriage is one of the hardest things i have ever had to deal with.

Just want to share my story (which some may know already) if you have read this thread you may notice my name. I have been through 4 miscarriages in 2years. I never made it pass 8 weeks. I've had all the tests done, blood tests, chromosome tests and everything came back fine. We kept on trying and i got my BFP last april and was given a scan at 6 and 9 weeks, so i was under the care of the EPC and we were lucky and i had my DD in January.:)

I really do believe one day everyone will get their dream of having a child, but unfortunatly some of us have to go through such heart ache to get there.

Keep believing and talk about what you are going through and rest and let yourself grieve

If anyone has any questions please do contact me i'm more then happy to help:)

Thanks Lauralou..im so sorry to hear that you went through 4 MCs. it is never easy. i am still struggling and i have only had one and very recent one. you are right though. through all the pain and hurt, it will happen. if it is meant to it will happen. i thought about the fact that sometimes whatever you can try, you have no control over it, esp in a case of a mc so we have to try and go on and try again. easier said than done i know, but if it helps to try and be positive then i am willing to give it a try. :) thanks for that. xxx congrats on the birth of your daughter. x

the reason people say you're more fertile after a mc is because there's no telling when you'll ovulate, could be as soon as you stop bleeding, could be weeks after.

I thought it was because your body is full of pregnancy hormones and so it's primed for having a baby?

After all of mine I've ovulated around the same time, 2 weeks after the bleeding stopped, I've not heard about Ov being at any time after a mc.

My OH just arrived home in tears, he went out after work for a couple of drinks and on the way home picked me up some fish and chips. The guys at the chip shop were asking after the twins and how they were doing.

I just want to hold my OH and make it all better but I can't.

Didn't know where else I could post this thought.
