Cullumpster, I'm glad you're back at home.

Have the doctors given you anything or advised you on what you can do to raise your BP?

Sexki11en, I agree with Nicki it may just be that you are testing too early. Some people do get early BFPs but the majority of women won't until 14DPO or later. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I mc'd seven weeks ago now and only ov'd last week, but that's due to some minor complications and prolonged bleeding. I did however ov 15 days after the bleeding stopped.

It is crazy how fast those seven weeks have gone. I'm keeping my fingers crossed Nicki that you get a Christmas BFP.

hi no they didn't mention anything, I really wasn't supposed to go home but I was complaining so much they let me lol, it was going up slowly, was up to 77/40 I think when they checked for the last time, feel ok tho just a bit wobbly and breathless. feel better today though
  • I was wondering if any of you lovely ladies could help? I have just had a second mc which started two weeks ago. I was 5 and a half weeks preg. The GP told me to do a preg test after 2 weeks to check I get a negative. So I tested today but got a positive on a cheap test. So I did a digi which said 2-3 weeks preg. Are my hcg levels likely to be that high 2 weeks after a mc? I stopped bleeding after a week and haven't been in any pain since but wonder if I should request a scan to check if it has all come away.

Hello agenta. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I would have thought that two weeks after your levels would be lower, if not back to normal by now but then everyone's body is different. I would give your EPU or Dr a call and ask them. It could be that the mc isn't complete.

  • Thank you emsbet, strangely enough I've just noticed blood when I wipe when I went to the loo just now (sorry if tmi). So i'm thinking now that the mc hasn't finished, even though I stopped bleeding a week ago. I have kind of lost faith in doctors during the 2 mc's, they haven't been especially helpful or tactful so I may give it a week as long as i'm not in pain and then retest and go to the GP then if I need to.

Aww Nicki :( Four cycles is hard. Have you tried SMEP? I did find that worked for us last time.

I have more stretchy CM today so going to get OH to DTD tonight and tomorrow as he is away Mon, Tues and Weds nights! Typical.

:( Yep. SMEP'd first two cycles, and the last one we used CBFM and dtd more than SMEP suggests, but all BFN. We are on the older side though, but I am working on the basis if we conceived 6 months ago, even though it didn't go the distance, we are still capable of doing so again. Hope that is not overly optimistic.

I had a lot of stopping and starting with the bleeding with my last mc. Mine lasted five weeks but I was 13+3 so I guess that contributed to the length of bleeding.

I would be tempted to give them a quick call as if the mc is not complete you could end up with an infection. This happened to me and it can prolong things further. If you don't want to contact them then keep an eye out for any pain, fever, foul odour or really heavy bleeding. If you get any of these you should call the doctor.

Arrgh I just lost a long post!!!

Basically I was saying Nicki that I think you should be able to gET PG again, I think you're similar age to me I am 36 OH is 44, and you're only three cycles in. It can be hard, but try and be positive, it can take a year to get PG even with no history.

You are very sweet skintchick. I just had a birthday and turned 43 however . DH is about 6 months older than I am. We feel younger though...
