I'm so sorry MacLurky, take care (((hugs))).
  • Sorry MacLurky, good luck for tomorrow. I think it would be better than leaving it to natural, I found it really quite painful & I remember the 'moment' of it passing too.
    Hope your getting some support.

  • Hi MacLurky, so sorry for your loss. I had ERPC in March (also had no heartbeat at 12 week scan :() and I agree with the other ladies, it was much less distressing than doing it naturally (naturally!! what a stupid expression. Don't see what's natural about it at all!)

Will be thinking of you tomorrow & in the days to come xxxx

Thanks tt and pigpen, appreciate your support - at least it should be sorted by this time tomorrow and we can try again x

That is exactly the way to look at it.. though expect a few hormonal wobbles... they are completely rational!

Ali.. that is exactly why I didn't say naturally.. lol.. it is far from proper and natural .. I also had massive problems when mine were left to nature I lost pints of blood and it dragged it over months.. ERPC is so much easier and quicker.. as horrible as it is :(

  • Hi guys, popping in for a winge and a moan! OH hasn't talked to me in 3days so can't even throw a wobbler at him (Think thats what stopped us takling in 1st place)

I can't believe I have to wait another whole week before scan, convinced it's already gone wrong as gave up on resting a few days ago! Got all kind of pings and pongs in my belly, I just imagine it like the suspension bridge in a scary film - each wire pinging off till the whole thing falls down (or in my case out!)

No more bleeds, had some sharp pains, no real cramps.

I am the most moody miserable cow EVER! I'm normally v.cheery, happy & hyper even.

Wish OH would do something decent to help me or make me feel better! Is it me or is ignoring me or just being sh!tty in general to me in this situation is just pure evil?!
I guess it brings out the worst in both of us :(

Any other 'expecting after miscarrying' out there? How are you getting on with tests etc?

MSM.. the sharp pains are probably ligaments stretching which is a good sign!!!! The hormones are there to make them relax.. The hormonal rant is a good sign.. ;) .. no blood and no cramps is a good sign too...

Is he worried about you and doesn't know what to do to make you feel better? He is going through this too I am sure.. he is a man.. TELL him what you want when you want it and don't let this drive a wedge between you.. :( .. your baby was conceived through love let it feel that.. you all deserve that much.

Go give him a hug and tell him how worried and frightened you are ... if he is still a !!!!!! after that you have my permission to poke him in the eye, make his gravy up with fish tank water and mae him sleep with the dog!

Do I come across as the kind of person to not argue and accept everything I am told without question? I think some people are a bit thick.. lol.

TUT.. suppose I could adopt you but don't get any ideas about moving 'home' because I might have to kick you out! :p

seriously.. I hope you can get to the bottom of wht is troubling hubby.. I'd put money on him just being scared and worried and not wanting to upset you by saying the wrong thing so is saying nothing.

  • I don't think it's related to my pg/not pg ness at all, it's the fact he's lost his cook, cleaner & clothes washer & this could last up to 9months (&even beyond)
    He isn't normally this much of a £$%! but he's always a bit of a £$%! !!!!

I haven't cooked in 5days, too tired and miserable (and maybe sick?)
