  • Susan, can I ask how far you were when you had the early scan? How much different were the dates?
    Sorry to be nosy.

I'm being a Google-addict today, not that I can find ANYTHING useful!

First scan was at 6+1 and they said I was definitely not as far as six weeks at the time but didn't give any more detail and I didn't get given a report from that scan. Then in the final scan report (scan at 21+6) it said that I'd been put back 7-10 days on the basis of the first scan and that I was 18-19 weeks (which doesn't quite correspond as even 10 days would only have put me back to 20+3). But since I got a positive pregnancy test at 8dpo I know their dating has to be wrong because if it was right it would mean I got a positive pregnancy either at 1dpo or before ovulation which clearly couldn't happen.

  • Did they find any reason for what happened to Isabella? Did you have a post-mortom? (I did read back, but couldn't find)

I am supposed to have a follow up appointment at 6-8 weeks but we didn't have a post mortem and I think it is unlikely they would have any answers as to why (they said they only find out about 50% of the time anyway).

Let hope they have great news, help & information to keep things going smoothly!

I'm finding staying positive the hardest thing! I can't decide whether to think positive, as it could possibly have an effect on the outcome. Or stay negative and at least then it might not hurt so much if it goes wrong!

Not feeling very pg, definately not able to rest/put my feet up, that lasted 2days!

I have a cold as well, so lots of coughing & sneezing, which is exactly what I'm trying to avoid!

Also thinking about being measured at <4weeks, when I'm sure I was 5-6w :(

    9 1/2 days till scan....a...very...looong...wait

Hello, just felt like sharing if that's ok?

Had my 12 wk scan last Monday but sadly it showed baby stopped developing at 6 wks 6days :(

Despite having every symptom going and no bleeding or cramps, guess it wasn't meant to be

Anyway had my second scan today to confirm and have been booked for a d and c tomorrow

    Hope it goes ok..

awww i am so sorry for you.
I had an ERPC for miscarriage number 2, it was quick and painless and worked as a sort of closure.

    thinking of you

Maclurky.. very sad to see your news. The ERPC takes about 15 minutes to do.. piece of cake, I've had several.. and you will need pads for a few days after. It is much easier than waiting for nature.
