  • I feel the same MSM, so your rants are helping me :p I'm so bored of this groundhog day of wanting to be pregnant, being pregnant, then not being pregnant.

I can't have my blood tests until AF arrives so I want her to bloody well hurry up!

MSMmk2, the poem was lovely, so touching xx

I can't believe nearly 5months of my life are wasted, TTC in Jan, pg in Feb, then just thinking baby, baby, baby since then. Now I have to start again, grrrrr!!!!
I think it kind of feels a bit like snakes and ladders where you keep thinking you're making progress and then suddenly you discover you're right back at the beginning again and it's not where you planned on or expected to be.

MSM - I had two miscarriages in three months last year - second one was a twin pregnancy missed miscarriage and it took me nearly 2 months to get a negative pregnancy test, and then another good 2-3 months to get a period again, and they're still flaky now (due date was Good Friday). I rang the EPU several times for advice because there's naff all in the NHS unless you yell scream shout and chase it up.... all they told me was that I was the longer side of normal.

Ali Do you know what test you are having yet? Are you going to a recurrent miscarriage specialist?

Well after my light period last weekend, i did a pregnancy test which came up positive 1-2 weeks, went for a blood test which was 39 so the doctor being the nice man that he was said" there is no chance on this planet that you are pregnant, its just left over hormones, we are not going to send you for more blood tests just get on with it." so now i dont know what to do.
I hope nobody minds me posting this,if you do i will delete it as i dont want to upset anyone. Could it still be left over hormones from 5weeks ago?
    Hope everyone is ok. X

Hello you :) xx I've got an appointment on 1st June with a haemotology specialist (although still waiting for my period so I can go for blood tests - got to go on CD3 & again on CD21) and appointment with recurrent miscarriage specialist will be in around 3 months time apparently. I'm still waiting for that appointment date to come through.

    Hope you're well xx

:( That sounds very frustrating and upsetting. I wish I could give you the answers. Did the hospital give you and practical information at all?

  • Why could you not be pregnant? Have you BD? Get some cheap HPT and test daily, look it the line gets darker by the day or lighter. Surely Dr should have done proper HGC test? see what the exact levels are?

    Order these http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0026RQ75W/ref=cm_rdp_product
£2.80 for 15, use some now to track the darkness of line & at least you'll have the rest for when you are TTC.
I ordered 19th & got them Sat (free delivery option) which is great as there was a bank hol in the middle!

I wouldn't get your hopes up, but take folic acid anyway.

I hate the way Dr's think we are hysterical etc just because we want answers!

    Good luck!

erm.. no.. you are pregnant and the doc is a twerp.. see one with a brain if you can OR ring the EPU and speak to them about it..

I was pregnant 5 weeks after 4 of my m/c .. the m/c shifted my cycle back by about a week so instead of 4.5 weeks cycle it was 5.5 weeks..

The clearblue tests require a HcG count of at least 25mg or whatever so there is no way it is wrong..

Thank you for all your advice.
I have phoned the epu they said just test again next weekend and go back to the doctor. We have been bd since the bleeding stopped, the hcg levels last week was 39, i will phone the doctors tomorrow and speak to the original doctor who sent me for a bloodtest in the first place ( she was nice and said it could go either way but was at least nice about it). I am not getting my hopes up but will pick up some cheap test this week.thank you everyone
    xx
