Well!! cant sleep again!!!

Have just got over 5 days off bleeding which stopped 3 days ago, so thought that was af.Now bleeding again so is this af!!! Fed up big time now.I cant try again for another 2 months but just want body back to normal!

I went back to work today, was not too bad although I did cry when one of my colleagues said "Nice to see you back" - I've done this each time I've gone back after a mc!! (Not the same colleague each time though thankfully!) My boss & my colleagues have all been very kind and I'm glad I've got that first day out of the way.

I have my blood tests (second round) at the recurrent miscarriage clinic this morning. so here go 5 or 6 more vials of blood.
i don't mind any more - pregnancy and miscarriage make you a pin cushion... as long as they test every last drop of it...

then less than a month until the results appointment...

hurrah it wasn't as much blood as last time, only a large vial and then vialzilla, the massive one...

now 4 weeks to go

Tiny tear- i have everything crossed for yiu that it is something simple and that it will get sorted quickly.
Ali- so glad was ok and not too bad only a few more days till the weekend. X
well the bleeding finally stopped last week so i did a p/test to see if all the hormones had gone and it still came up positive. Does anyone know how long it takes to get all the hormones out of the body, i thought it was after the bleeding had stopped. It has been 3 weeks now and i want to be able to move on. I am trying not to get stressed but all i keep thinking is that with my ex nothing happened for 3.5 years despite fertility treatment and what if that happens again now. Sorry for rambling just feeling a little sorry for myself today ( been surrounded by pregnant women and babies at work today)

:hugs: I went to EPU whilst having my last natural MC, they did a Pg Test which came up + so had bloods taken, they then told me to do another test 2 weeks after bleeding stops and if it came up still + to contact them, if not all was fine. I would guess everyone is different though and that as long as there is a gradual reduction in your hormones there is no worry, but if you havent had bloods done you wont know I guess. If it were me Id prob wait another 2 weeks and test again. I had my next period just over 3 weeks once bleeding had stopped which was nearly as heavy as the MC, so I guess when you next have AF you'll know you're back to normal as well.

Hula, I agree with Manda - do another test in 2 weeks. I'm sure that I was told it might take up to 4 weeks for test to show as negative.

Yes I am lurking! Ha, haven't had the chance to write.
Mentally i am getting alot better, I also have BD a few times! I do think 'the witch' coming or in a few weeks a -tive pg test will send me backwards. I did a cheapy last week & it said neg, but I want to do another to double check the hormones have gone as everyone else still +tive.
Had indegestion/heartburn/sickness when I went to bed last night & got all excited! But I was knackered this morning from being kept awake. I think it's way to early to conceive, let alone have symptoms.
Would have been 14wks today, and my fat belly would have been because of baby, not comfort food

Also just found our abortion is legal until 24weeks!! Thats shocking! I've been having a rant on 'Help! My partner is pregnant' thread about peoples attitudes to abortion. Got myself in a right tizz!

Hope you other ladies are OK, and that you did enjoy the sunshine & having boobs that aren't sore, and trying to find anything at all thats good about not being pg (like alcohol, allergy tablets & ...... prawns?)

It is disgusting abortion is legal until 24 weeks.. esp. when the will resuscitate 23 weekers.. while few survive they do still try.

I conceived 3 weeks after m/c a few times.. so not necessarily too soon.. I also never had a +ve pregnancy test after it had gone.. often the bleeding didn't start until the test was -ve
