  • P.S. My dr said it looked 'really nice' down there!!! lol! What does that mean? She was looking internally at the time. Also 'no, can't see anything cheese like' , thats got to be my best compliment ever!!

Thanks MSM, that really made me chuckle :D

I've not felt too bad today, as usual woke up feeling rubbish but felt better as morning progressed. I've also played the "What causes mc" game too - it's usually stress at work, some random time I got drunk before I conceived, and at the moment it's because I'm overweight - conveniently forgetting that when I fell pregnant with my son (who wasn't planned, bless him!) I was drinking like a fish, smoking 10-15 a day, working in the same job as I have now + doing loads of overtime (overtime!! those were the days...!) and only weighed about half a stone less than I do today :o

Hope everyone else is OK xxxx

ha! and when you have more than one you make stupid connections - what happened before all of them

In my case - go to Cambridge and have parents or in-laws coming to visit the following weekend

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here has been on ESA when they had a miscarriage? I am self employed and have been receiving ESA for hyperemesis gravidarum. Obviously I don't have the hyperemesis anymore but presumably would still be entitled to ESA as I couldn't work at the moment. I don't really want to be having to phone them up and fill in new forms etc. at the moment but I'm worried that if I don't tell them that the situation has changed I might end up getting into trouble about it.
Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.

  • Hi Susan, so sorry for your loss. I'm only guessing as I've never been self-employed, but I'm sure in your situation you'd still be entitled to ESA.

Take care, you're in my thoughts xxxx

Feel a bit down today x Thought my body was getting back to normal as just had what I thought was af that lasted about 5 days. Started doing opks again and got a positive but am only(I thought) on CD10. I then did a hpt that I had left over and that was positive. So looks like I still have hcg left from the pregnancy.I am so fed up, I know its only been a few weeks but I just want things back to normal.

Sorry for rant but cant talk to anyone else about this.My OH tries to understand but ends up making me feel worse!!
  • I felt just the same, jules, it is soo frustrating.

  • Sorry Jules ((((hugs)))) seeing that positive hpt must have been such a cruel reminder. I'm sure it won't be long until everything is back as it was.
Hope you have a nice weekend xxxxx

Jules- i know what you mean. I did a pregnancy test yesterday and it was still positive i know its only been 18 days but i thought that part would be over with. I guess it will right itself when our bodies are ready.
Sending everyone lots of hugs. X
