Evening all. Just dropping in to send my love to everyone here going through a tough time right now.
I still think about my mc last January, and even though I now have the most beautiful baby boy, I still think about the little one I lost and feel so sad :(
I also still look at my scan pics from that pregnancy..never to be forgotten x

How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..
  • To everyone who is experiencing this for the first time (like me) it seems to be getting better. I had a really good day today, sun was shining, I got dressed properly (rather than all black & no make-up) and it had a real effect on my mood.

Thinking I will try again, do we definately have to wait for AF, is that just for dating purposes?

    It's been 2 1/2weeks since emergency scan.

Hope this new mood will last!

MSM.. yes just for dating purposes.. though it also shows your body is ready for a new pregnancy. 2 of my children were conceived before I had AF after MC and all was fine.. I also have a couple conceived after that first AF. I found my cycle was a week or so longer after AF than normal. Glad to hear you are feeling stronger today.. the sunshine does make a huge difference.

I don't remember any of my MC due dates, but I do remember the month and year they happened and how many weeks I was.

Glad you're feeling better today, take every day as it comes.
All the Drs Ive seen have told me that we can try straight away (well once bleeding stopped)as long as I was ready and that yes, its just for dating purposes that you wait for AF.
  • *note to self* STOP LOOKING AT THE LESS THAN 12 WEEKS THREAD!!

Had a nice weekend really, seen both sets of parents which reminded me how lucky we are to have such a lovely, supportive family.

Finding it hard to feel positive about much at the moment, wish we could try again ASAP but we can't because of the tests we're having, but even if we could I'm so scared of losing another one so it's probably for the best. Hope the referral to the consultant doesn't take months & months :o

Got GP tomorrow so will ask him then. Supposed to be going back to work but I think (hope?) my GP will sign me off for another week. Hope everyone else is OK xxxx

Ali- glad to hear you had a nice day with your families. The doctor should be able to give you a rough estimate on how long you have to wait and roughly what tests you will have, my former boss had 3 m/c and saw consultant within 3weeks. So fingers crossed for you.
I am back to work tomorrow, not looking foward to it all but i am hoping that the routine will be good for me. I feel alot calmer at the moment. So i am hoping my hormones are settling down or that the acupuncture has helped.

Hope everyone else is well x

@hula hope getting back to work wasn't too traumatic
@ali step away from the internet - or just the bad threads...

I hope everyone is coping better today.

I had a regression as there was another pregancy announcement at work - this time my male colleague who sits next to me - and who I know has been having relationship problems for over a year
this made me more sad as a child isn't a sticky plaster for a relationship.

i hope it will all end up for the best with them...

still at lunch went for a looong walk and resisted not eating cakes and biscuits...

one week until my second round of blood tests for the RMC...

don't be disheartened if, like me, you dont get a bfp straight off. it takes longer than you imagine for your body to recover, even if your mind has made good progress. xxx
