Miscarriage support

I've felt better over the last couple of days, but had a couple of "moments" earlier. My friend phoned to tell me she had her 20 week scan today, and she's having a boy. I'd have loved another boy :(
Then about 10 minutes later, I was looking for my sunglasses and I opened a drawer and found my positive pregnancy tests. I'd completely forgotten they were there. I put them in the bin and then felt guilty as it was the first evidence of this pregnancy, and then today it was also the last evidence I couldn't keep them though, I just couldn't bear to keep finding them. Bad times

Sorry your having a hard time Jules, it's such a strain on life having this terrible thing happen, but the effects carry on for so long after, when everyone thinks we're back to normal.

Had a proper cry last night, still working at 8pm & thinking how I'd be a rubbish mum anyway because I work so much & only just have time to be a mum to DS1 & maybe thats why I'm not pg anymore. I want it so bad.

Has anyone had their period yet? I'm dreading it, just want to know how long it might be. I have been TTC again (naughty girl!) but not that into BD to keep doing it unnessesarly (cannot spell!) just too tired, lol!

Msm - we have also been bd but not much, no sign of period yet but its not quite 3 weeks yet so i guess i have a little while to go. I am sure you are an excellent mum to your ds and you will be to other ds/dd you go on to have.
Look after yourself, enjoy the sunshine and try to chill x

We just went for a walk along the seafront, where my son managed to fall into the sea :rotfl: luckily we only live 5 minutes walk away so we came home & plonked him in the bath.

It is great to come on here, be honest, be graphic & be depressed! I the real world we should be 'over it' (according to everyone!) and we're not! If we talk about it, or are miserable people are judgemental, here its true & open.

Today I got a text about 1 friends birth, name weight etc, & then 20mins later another - I'm pregnant, blah blah. Talk about kick in the nuts! (neither knew about my pg or mc)

So hormonal, mood swings, mega zits! I'm either pg or period coming, most likely period, not looking forward to that
1= another sign I'm not pg anymore
2= bleeding again, reminder of everything
3= I'm not pg again (new conception)
4= I have to wait another 2weeks to TTC
5= Another month into next yr before possible baby birth
6= Periods are just bloody rubbish whatever is happening in life!

I love a good rant in the evening!!:T

MSM.. Hope you feel a little better after your rant.. I just had a rant on the flylady thread too.. sometimes it has to be done.. better than ranting to people you care about and upsetting them.. we can take it!

The period may mean those things but it also means your body is ready to support another conception and hopefully go to term this time.. 2 weeks to TTC means you can be taking folic acid to help the baby be well and you can get an accurate EDD and while it takes you another month into next year.. it is still only just into next year.. loads of baby bargains in the sales.. There are a few positive.. stay strong you will get there though I know right now it seems a million miles away.. (((hugs)))
