Hi Ali, don't know if you did it naturally last time, but when I had mine on Sat, I had pains while eating breakfast (9am) got back in bed at 10 in extreme pain, 11 passed & went to work at 12.30 (own business, all going tits up when I wasn't there!) The pain was immense, but over within a few hours. Not had much pain since, but still bleeding
Is this your 2nd?
I've got Dr next week, hoping they will give me tests, but doubt it. I want full GUM clinic check, scan or examination of scan picture to see c-section damage & IF (BIG IF) I do get pregnant an early scan.
I'd also like to lose 2 stone, win the lottery & have boobs that float.
Which one do I have more chance of?:j - DS - 7

This is bloody rubbish! and it hurts
Ali, are you still home? Don't be on your own, it's a really horrible thing to go through alone although I know people here are thinking of you this evening.
Also if you start wondering if you need to go to emergency gynae, don't hesitate - just go.
Keep us posted please. And take care of yourself.
Love from MsB x0 -
Hi girls, sorry if I worried you. Pain has all but gone now, although I haven't passed anything really except a few small clots. OH is here with me. He popped to Boots earlier and the pharmacy advised to take ibuprofen with paracetamol, and it did take the edge off.
MSM, I've had 3 miscarriages now, and one chemical pregnancy (started bleeding a week after BFP, was just like a heavy period really with very little pain) The other 2 miscarriages were both around 7-8 weeks, so this is the furthest along that I've got since I had my son. The first miscarriage was much more painful than the 2nd one, but I was in as much pain earlier on so imagine that will probably get worse before it gets better. I would also like all the things that you would like too
Luckily OH has got the whole day off with me tomorrow. I'm hoping the pain will stay away until tomorrow and I get to have the erpc. Thanks again for your support, it means a lot to know you're all here xxx0 -
I'm sad and angry any of us have to go through this.
Life hasn't been kind to me in the past, and I thought we lived in a cruel world, but after this, and seeing so many others go through this, I really am shocked.
Are we supposed to be better people after this? Kinder to others? Because I want to be more selfish & look after number 1! Grrr!:j - DS - 7

I agree MSM. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, and I'm ashamed to say that before this happened to me I would hear about women I know who had miscarriages, and would feel sympathy but didn't appreciate at all just how hideous and distressing it is. Also, until it happened to me I didn't realise how sadly common it is - but isn't it strange how no-one really talks about it?? It's kind of why I started this thread, little knowing that over a year later I'd still be bloody using it!!0

when i had mc in november the epu told me to ring them if i got bfp in future.
i rang on monday and they got me in for an early scan at 6 weeks. they are going to scan me every two weeks to keep an eye on me. maybe your epu will be able to do something like this.
i haven't even been to my own docs or contacted midwife about this pregnancy yet or anything, but epu have been great.0 -
Wow that's really good PP!! It must vary from area to area, as our EPU will only see you if you're referred by your GP, a consultant or the maternity unit (as I was yesterday), and only then if you're more than 7 weeks pregnant.
They're really nice people though, just understaffed I guess.0 -

i wasnt sure if i heard right when she said to ring epu next time but i thought there's nothing lost if they tell me to bog off!
they were brilliant and booked me in straight away.
they said i should get a midwife in the usual way through the doctors and they will just do reassurance scans. as i lost the baby at 12 weeks they will do the scan until i am in the second trimester.0
