My mc was a natural one and I had no hospital intervention. I bleed dark brown stuff like you for around a week then two to three days of very heavy bright red blood then it slowed down and stopped. I have to say I carried on working as I needed the distraction but I was so so tired. I nearly passed out in the shower one night and had to get hubby to put a pad on me and carry me back to bed. It was so undignified!

Just a question for you all. My mc was at the beginning of Feb and Im still waiting for AF to arrive. I have no signs or feelings or anything to say Im to expect it. How long did it take for others to get AF?

Sorry to hear your news. They say it should take 4-6 weeks after mc for af to arrive. My mc was natural and af arrived four weeks to the day. hth.

    hugs for everyone x

Hi ladies, hoping I'm posting in the right place, feeling a little lost as to where to post at the moment and came accross this thread, its not been long since I lost my little man but I'm eager to TTC again soon, I feel so lost without my bump. I feel for each of the posters I read, I never imagined how I'd feel and its hard but each day I seem to gain a little more strength and hope that posting here amoung other people going through the same may help. :)

Thanks for that link QQ, I'm a regular poster on that site too, well found myself there after what happend but felt guilty that I had never paid the ladies a thought on there before or read some their stories. I'm looking forward as best I can to TTC again and will be back on TTC as soon as I'm feeling ready. I don't feel I can fully grieve until my baby is cremated which won't happen until the end of the month, that seems to be the hardest thing to deal with at the moment, I need the knowledge that my baby is resting in peace with all the other angels to move on from this nightmare time. Thanks for posting that, the support from this forum is fantastic.

Cleo, I feel like a little bit of a broken record saying this, but I lost my son @ 36 weeks last October. I was desperate, and I mean DESPERATE, to get pregnant again.

If you want to send me a PM, I'd be happy to discuss things.

Wishing you all the very very best

please excuse the grammar or lack thereof as i am on my phone . I have been ttc for 3.5 years. We lost our first we years ago on my birthday. Missed mc, found out at my 12 wk scan. Lost it naturally 2 wks later on mothers day. Next missed mc was a few months later. Found out at 8 wk scan. Had 2 failed rounds of medical management and then a d&c. A year later a had a natural mc at 5 weeks and last summer an ectopic. We dont have any children and have just started to ttc once more. I have tried counselling but it felt too self indulgent and a little part of me wants to keep the hurt as its all i have. My heart goes out to you all x

  • Hi Mennie, so sorry for your losses - you've really been through it. Have you had any tests at all? xx
