Anyone used Carmel lately? Reserved a car to pick us up from Newark airport on Monday to take us to hotel Staybridge Suites, Manhattan. Looked at Yelp and they have a lot of negative reviews, people saying that they have lost the plot lately. Appreciate any recent feedback.0

We got back from NYC on Tuesday, lucked out and got a room upgrade ( booked on priceline and got a great deal), we went just before picking up a cruise so only a brief stop
Was busier than I have ever seen lots of road works up around Times Square and causing a lot of human congestion, you literally could not move and had to turn around and go back.0 -
Looking either do Rock day and night ticket $42 or SmartDestinations.com do GoPass for both at $44 (although ES is only 86th floor not 102nd)
Anybody done either or can advise?0 -

Hi have done Top of the Rock day into sunset. Breathtaking.
ESB at night for me was not good. Far to long a queue once inside - too many lifts and cramped once outside.0 -

I've used a Smart Destinations pass. Always good value but doesn't guarantee you entry if time slots are full so make sure you pick up a ticket early if you're planning on going during peak times.0 -
Hi All
Can anyone advise which attractions really do need to booked in advance to guarantee entry? Am visiting in late October and want to do the usual tourist hot spots.
Is there a city pass which is good value at that time of year?
Thanks0 -
Statue of Liberty and 9/11 museum need to be booked in advance to guarantee space.
Statue of Liberty is from statue cruises (official website).
First time we visited we got the go select pass, as you choose what attractions you add- think we got a 15% discount.:T0 -
Thinking renting bikes to cycle round Central Park as it's so big or is it better to do on foot?
Thinking might be a pain if have to keep locking bike up to see attractions up close?0 -
I think you see more on foot and it's more relaxed.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
