Really gutted, thought they were fab prices. Nowhere else could touch it, tried Continental direct on their website, Kayak and Expedia. Now I know why as the price was obviously wrong.
That's a shame. What are your dates?0 -
24/5/12 to either 5/6/12 or 6/6/12 (probably the 6th, but depends on price if there is much of a difference).0

What websites do you all use to book your new york holidays? I'm curious as to whether most people buy separate flights & hotels or whether people go for the package deal. The past three times that i have went to NYC, i've booked flight & hotel through expedia and usually found this to be a good deal but don't want to be missing out on some potential cheaper hols to be had.
Any info is appreciated!0 -

Hello
I search everywhere! Lol usually I start on last-minute.com expedia , then look at B.A. Etc I hAve everything written down, then go with the best price and flight times and or hotel.
I think it depends on the time of year you are going. I went in April this year and booked separate, I find if going in December/Holiday time it's cheaper to book a package.
The only thing I haven't tried yet is priceline for hotels, if the price is right I try and book directly with hotel.0 -

Hi all
A really random stalkeresque question... Does anyone know where Beyonce lives in New York? I'm hoping she will be in the city for Christmas. If I loiter around Tribeca or somewhere I might see her... I'm a huge fan

Well, we have gone and done it again.
Booked for February, flying from Birmingham for £375 each and looking at hotels. 6 of us are going, and it will be the first time we have taken the kids.
I am very excited, but also a bit nervous.
Hoping to take the kids to ESB, Ground Zero memorial Gardens, Staten Island Ferry. Gutted that the basketball is still in lockout, and doesn't appear to be reaching a deal so may take them to the ice hockey aswell.
Anyone got any tips for travelling with kids? ( they are 9 and 12)0 -
