I stayed there in March for a week. I paid £59 a night and loved it. We had a large room on a high floor overlooking the building site and downtown, 2 double beds, coffee table and armchair, fridge and microwave. There's free coffee in the lobby all day, free bottled water on every floor, free wifi and computers to use and they even gave us a free cocktail on the roof. And just round the corner from the subway, Cenuary 21 and Wall Street. I loved it and would go back to the hotel anyday. :j

    £59 a night - HOW?? Thats a bargain and a half!!

    Have you been then mate?

As you saw, that is for 2. I was surprised at the price as assumed it would involve a stop over. Once I realised they were direct, I booked it pronto as the best price I saw for direct flights alone was £855 for two.

Fingers crossed the 3% cashback kicks in soon to bring it even lower!
Never stayed there but i do know the area very well stayed in The Westin and Candlewood before all around the port auth terminal . Great location (esp for 1st time NYCers) and was about to book the distrikt when its price went up and The Westin came down so i reserched it well. & we paid a hell of alot more than 1700 in Feb (in comparison to days and rooms) I am a good flyer just like to get there so i try to avoid one stops as i am with my family but it often means a extra few £££ than i know i can get with a stop off. so i would rather stay another night or two and fund the difference by the "potential "savings finding a good no stops flight. If that make sense to anyone:laugh::question:

I am fine thanks for asking.
It my Bday around thanksgiving so going then got cancelable rooms at the westin times square (just over 3k ouch) hoping the grand hyatt will be back up and running as we have some vouchers we can use but the rooms we need are still (in their own word) "up in the air" We might have managed to hitch a free flight into Atalanta through a company that i do some work for (4 of us) so flights maybe sorted. Enjoyed going over Thanksgiving last time had that happy people feeling a little party fever .
