Appearing in court gives you cause for trepidation.
Why does that scare you ?0 -

In big bold letters it states 'this problem will not go away!'
It is a lot more formal looking than the previous letters and it has rattled the other half. I have told him we need to ignore it but he is a worrier and now thinking we will get taken to court, I still plan to ignore. It is a very professional looking letter though- part of the ploy right?
Hi reallytinyamy - have you managd to convince your partner on this yet?!0 -
" professional looking"
'Looking' being the operative word.
G24 letters that I recall have been anything but professional.0 -
I ma quite disappointed with the standard of parking company troll we get these days, they don't have the stamina to last up to 20 posts. Whatever happened to the old ones you could have a good old stand up slanging match with.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I am in this nasty little process having been given a ticket last December and I am ignoring all communication. The last bit of post was a letter from CCS with some carefully phrased warnings: "may be taken to court" and "visit your home to discuss payment" which has once again, after having read these posts, confirmed that G24 have no enforceable action to take to court. I have also had a quite polite phone call during which I gave no info and took a message. What put me onto this scam was the greediness of £95 penalty down to £75. Of the many deserved tickets I have received from local councils, the early payment has always been half. I was immediately suspicious and very pleased to find this site and others. Well done everyone! I will keep my posts up-to-date. It would be great to get these bullies stopped somehow.0

We have had our letter of 'intended court action' this morning. Whatever. I enjoy the line "this problem will not go away..."- they are the only ones that are a problem! A friend advised me that she had parked in a similar place two years ago, received similar letters and nothing ever happened so I know its OK to ignore. I feel for the people that dont have the capacity to look into this and pay these 'fines' without questioning them.Wins 2012: £50 Love2Shop voucher, Lets Dance tickets, Juan Zelades CD, bluetooth speaker, Blackberry 9360 with £30 credit a month, Chocolate, Maybelline Goodie Bag, Hunter wellies!0
