They haven't cashed my cheque as yet.
Phone your bank straight away and say its been lost and to put a block on the cheque, they charge something like £10 for doing so, but say you are worried about fraud etc and they may not charge you.
Understand though, all PPC tickets are invoices, they are NOT enforceable in law, and should be completely ignored, and all their letters should also be ignored, together with the bogus debt collectors and solicitors letters.
Basically its all a scam!Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

Having received a parking charge notice from G24 for over staying in a car park I went straight back to the store and asked to speak to the manager.
I told him that the store had failed in its duty of care to it's customers by:
1. Not displaying any notice within the store reminding customers of the limited parking.
2. The store did not broadcast over their tannoy the formentioned warning.
3. As I was talking at great lenght to one of their sales people he should have reminded me of the time limit.
At this point the store manager asked one of his staff the ring the ppc and get it canceled.
Yesterday I got a letter from the ppc saying it had been waived. :T0 -
Sorry, nospam, but how does that help the OP?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Hey folks - after about 6 months of sending me letters, I reckon they've finally given up! The last one was about a month ago - a 72 hour warning of a house visit. Shame, because I was ready for them with tea and biscuits, and they didn't even have the courtesy to call!!!
ANYONE READING THIS WHO HAS BEEN GIVEN A 'FINE' AND ARE NOT SURE WHETHER TO PAY IT OR NOT - TAKE THE ADVICE ON HERE AND INGNORE ALL LETTERS - THEY REALLY WILL GO AWAY EVENTUALLY.
Thanks for your help and support everyone!!!0 -
