I don' t know what to do?
I have wrote a letter to G24 asking for a poppla number but because my date of letter states more than 28 days have passed they say I have to pay or expect to go to county court.
I wrote to them as I only received the letters last week as they had been posted through my next door neighbours house and I wasn't t aware of them. When the landlord next door got a new tenant he found lots of my post, and there were the G24 letters. I have stated all this but they have still said they expect payment. How very personable!
    What can I do?

What part of the post above yours, didn't tell you where to read and what to do?

Directing newbies to the info stickies where they can find all the info to solve their problem in a clear, concise and proven form is being nice to them!

Leaving them mired on confused and outdated threads is far crueler and the amount of traffic here means we don't have much truck with pandering.

No one is deliberately being 'not nice' to newbies, but we are exceptionally busy and we need to quickly move people on to the one place that gives them all they need.

In the space of typing one reasonably detailed reply there can be another 10 or more threads newly appearing on the forum, all of which need to be read and (most) answered. It can become almost overwhelming.

For example, yesterday, midnight to midnight, there were 97 threads becoming active (either new threads or new posts) all which most regulars will have read and made comments on at least some/many. And that's just here on MSE - and many of us are active on other parking forums.

So, do I read into this that you are going to come over to this forum, PePiPoo, CAG, Parking Prankster etc, to spend hours every day reading every thread and comment to learn about this stuff.

Then spend more hours every day being expected to answer the same query with the same reply to endless different newbies who come back with the same inane questions like, 'Do I post it first or second class', 'Do I put my address on the letter', 'What is the address for the BPA/DVLA', 'What does POPLA mean', 'Help, I need you to do all this for me'.

It is for these reasons I produced my basic 'Walk Through' and why Coupon produced the most comprehensive and definitive NEWBIES guide available anywhere, so we could avoid having to give these time consuming replies ad nauseam, ad infinitum and allow us to help those with more complex issues.

Welcome to the 'team'. As there's only a handful of us, your contributions will be very much appreciated.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
