just got my 2nd letter today top of letter charge notice date is wrong
reading all these emails i am assuming its a crap company do i just ignore the letters im bit worried about some guys knocking at my door as mother is disabled what do you suggest guys how far does all this go and can they touch us when they have wrong date on letters
i guess im at very early stages but there letters look so jokey
cheers for any help
They can't touch you no matter what date is on the letter. Yes it is a crap company. They won't knock on your door for the simple reason that they won't waste fuel driving all the way to your house just to be told to **** off. Debt collectors are not bailiffs, however much they would like you to think they are.
It is a mail based scam, their letters are supposed to scare the uninformed into paying up. Carry on ignoring!0 -
Is G24s scam legal? It smacks of "obtaining money by deception" to me!0
-
That has been superseded by the Fraud Act 2006.
Arguably the Administration of Justice Act 1970 could apply as an alternative.0 -

Just wanted to say thank you for all the advice and information given, it really has put my mind at rest, I have been so worried, to the point of not sleeping about this, we don't have the money to pay, now let them bring it on, I am reassurred that I will be fine and, almost, looking forward to the next letter to see what they come up with.

Hi Guys,
I have just recieved my first letter from G24 Ltd. .. Am I doing the right thing by ignoring this letter???
I cant afford the payment of £75 never £95 . .
Help!!!!!!
Thanks0 -
Yep, absolutely right Mike, follow all the advice already given on this thread (and the other PPC threads) and completely ignore this letter and all future letters (including the empty threats off their other trading name CCS collect).
There's never been a known instance of G24 suing anyone. The chances of you being the first person to be sued by them, and for them to win the case, are similar to your chances of winning the EuroMillions jackpot two weeks in a row.0
