Waiting for our third letter here which will hopefully arrive before we fly to a land far far away in a few days.
By the time we return no doubt collection experts will have uprooted our house and relocated it in the corner of an industrial estate as the new G24 office.
Its a worry I can tell you.0 -
If it's any consolation, I'm ahead of you in the G24 paper trail and I've not heard anything for nearly 4 weeks despite the dire warnings of the last letter from G24 ( sorry CCS Collect - it's so easy to get the two muddled up :rotfl:).
And just to prove to any waverers, I've now gone 10 weeks without any further threats of the world coming to an end if I don't pay.
Only another 2 weeks before their domain name is suspended as well - I'm keeping a close eye out to ensure it happens :rotfl:Oh, G24, Companies House will probably be having a quiet word as wellAll aboard the Gus Bus !0 -
Hello
i was just wondering if anyone would help me, i have recieved a number of letters now from g24 regarding my fine, saying that i have final notices etc. Then the other day i got a letter from ccs saying that if the payment wasnt paid within 7days, then the debt collectors would come to my house. As i am a student and live with my mum i am quite worried that this could go further:(
Should i be worried and ignore the letter or should i pay for the fine?
Thanks0 -
Carly, understand a few things
1) it's not a fine
2) It's an unforceable invoice
3) debt collectors are not bailiffs
If anyone calls around tell them to sod off, they have no powers! Really it will go no further than junk mail!Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

They cannot send bailiffs round (you are thinking of bailiffs when you think of a knock on the door). What they are talking about is just passing the file to their pet debt collector who will...wait for it...write another letter! :rotfl:

Thanks taffy056 and coupon mad
I'm just worried because letter is saying "please pay the full amount you owe within 7 days of this letter to avoid probable further action"
So basically all it is,is just threats?
It does sound slightly strange how they're demanding me to pay the full amount within 7 days yet on the back it says you can pay them monthly :S0 -

Actually that should read "hollow and meaningless threats". Please don't take these clowns too seriously. By making these letters sound official they are hoping to fool people into paying up. That "further action" just means they will send another silly letter. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
So what else do I have to expect from these letters?and when do they normally stop sending letters, my "fine" was issued on 2nd dec0

Read through this thread and note my posts - that will tell you what order things come in and how quickly they come. Most of all IGNORE, IGNORE and IGNORE. If you're as bloody minded as me then think of things to cause G24 hassle ( although I've probably already started them already :rotfl:).
I got my invoice in September and haven't heard anything for at least 10 weeks now.All aboard the Gus Bus !0 -
