the 2 bullet points at the bottom say: -

If you fail to pay or seek help from us, we may [note the use of may, ie not that they WILL but that they MAY; take it from me they will do neither as it costs them money to do either] take one of the following actions without further warning:-

* Arrange for a local collector to make an appointment to visit you at your home to discuss this debt. They can only make an appointment if you respond to them and agree. Notice they say 'local collector' not 'bailiff' but they try to imply it's the same as a bailiff visit [it's not].
* Recommend to our Client that action is taken against you through the County Court/Sheriff Court. So if you don't pay they may recommend that the client wastes money issuing court papers with no chance of recovering them. Even if the DCA did recommend it, the client would decline [again because they never go to court, or lose when they do so].

DO NOT IGNORE THIS NOTICE My advice: Do just that, ie IGNORE THIS NOTICE
So you see it's all bluff and bluster... may and consider and recommend all mean 'we want you to think we will, but we won't.'

• Phew thank you for putting my mind at rest as doing overtime! :A

Not been good as found out I was dating a D**** user, apparently his brother grows them. Nobody wants to listen, not even to normal hard working people, had enough really.

I prob don't trust the P***** as was married to one ' value my life' & they are ****.

Been off work for 5 wks got another 3wks off form the doc's, will hopefully be on the road to recovery, I may win the lottery, or stumble on a millionaire as fed up with the leeches out there (none of these will comre to fruition but, I will be £50/£75 better up :j, better than a poke in the eye with a blunt fish. Also go towards hols in Rome in a few wks with my Son :)

This has made the world to me, thank you. :j
Just hope I get a job at Bentley soon, as unhappy where I work at the moment. Have lots of experience but just not appreciated etc.

I too have received a pcn from g24 for parking in a homebase car park in poole retail park. Apparently we overstayed the time by 37mins - we were not aware that there was a time limit and were in homebase to buy diy items. We recently moved to poole and have embarked on diy on the property we bought. The general consensus seems to be to ignore the letters from g24. Should we contact the manager of homebase and explain we had spent all the time in his store buying and discussing kitchen and bathroom choices or should we just not contact anyone. We are pensioners and can ill afford to pay £75, £95 or anything else to this "g24" whoever they are!

yes contact homebase with a letter of complaint, send it to the head office addressed to the ceo of the company, tell him that you are taking your business to another company that does not allow a company like G24 to harass legitimate customers.

Homebase Ltd.,
Customer Services Department,
Acton Gate,
Stafford,
ST18 9AR

don't bother contacting the parking company, its pointless they just want your money, they have no good side so your appeal will turned down, the good news for you is that the invoice is bog paper.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Just ignore G24, but send off a scathing letter to Homebase telling that you will not shop there again until they get rid of G24.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?
• Just received a letter telling me a final notice will be issued within 24 days of the letter. It states that a PCN was placed on my car on 26th Feb - which it wasn't. I WAS parked there and my badge was on the dashboard.

"The Parking Charge Notice was issued for contravening the parking conditions at Ladymead Retail Park, Woodbridge Road, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 1AJ by Parked in Disabled Bay without Blue Badge".

I am in fact disabled and a Blue Badge holder, can provide photocopy of my badge etc.

Advice please?

I don't mean to be rude but why have you not read the WHOLE of this thread ? If you had then you would know that the man you want to annoy is my mate Terry - terry.duddy@homeretailgroup.com . Forget about customer services - they don't care - go straight to the top.

Oh you doubters !

Direct from Nominet :

" Thank you for your email.

Having checked our records, I would agree that the domain name, g24.co.uk is currently registered incorrectly and therefore, the registration is in breach of our terms and conditions. It is for this reason that I have served notice to the registrar to update the details.

If the registrar has not updated the details within 14 days, I will send notice to the current contact details of our intention to suspend the domain name, if the details are not corrected by the registrar in .

If the contact details listed against the domain name have still not been updated after another 30 days, the domain name will be suspended, pending cancellation. " :p

Latest update. G24 have updated their details with a fake address. Therefore I've asked Nominet to suspend the domain name until a valid address is provided. OK, I admit it's only a small thing but it certainly makes me happy that the scammers that are G24 are at least being hounded. :)
