Yep DLC, Hillesden Securities, Mercantile Data Bureau, all the same company. Different desks same office. I have no dealings with them over parking. I have over disputed debts, they are muppets. Make lots of noise but are easily ignored. Never deal with them over the phone. Let them write to you and then deal with whatever they think you owe them.
PS: They are all owned by faccenda chicken[maybe why they are nuggets]:D

I'm hoping that because they are trying to follow up a PCN, it is not considered a genuine debt - rather than an unpaid loan or credit card. Hopefully they won't try and take it to court. Although that said, I will defend myself as I feel their PCN was unfair, and it wasn't me that was driving the car at the time!0 -

Thanks Coupon-Mad - I've printed your reply and put it by the phone, so if I do get to speak to them I will set them straight immediately. I'll keep this thread posted with developments......0

Coupon-mad is correct DLC can not issue any proceedings only the original creditor or a debt company who buys the rights and liabilities can issue court proceedings. But if this is for a parking charge it wont go anywhere near a court.
DLC are a sort of last chance saloon debt collectors, they buy or take on debts which have proven to be hard to collect on. They make lots of noise but I have put them to bed on several occasions.
They will call back if they haven't spoken to you, but do as Coupon-mad says tell them you deny any knowledge of any debt, refuse to answer security questions and tell them to write only.
Then if it does turn out to be this parking charge ignore the clowns!0 -
First time poster here. but just to reiterate what others have previously said, thanks a lot for sharing PPC related info on G24. I am a named driver on my old man's car and we have been stung by PPC threat-o-grams (love that term :rotfl:) before. That time it was the mysterious "Devere Parking Services" and unfortunately the old man panicked and paid it as soon as he had opened the envelope, and before I knew about it.
I filled him in with all the info, so when we recieved a first "invoice" from G24 recently - for overstaying by a few minutes, due to unforseen circumstances, in the car park of a household name store - it was immediately filed in the waste paper basket. As this thread was started nearly a year ago I thought I would keep it updated, and will come back and post updates as others have done.
Going for the standard IGNORE, IGNORE & IGNORE AGAIN approach, and if it comes to it I will happily see them in court.
Reluctant to give too many details away as I know that persons associated with the PPC's seem to lurk on this and other related forums, but just to say thanks again for anyone who has posted info.
Epsom Oldie - what stage are you up to now??0 -

It might be worth writing to that store telling them they have lost your patronage until they get rid of the parking company. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0
