As this thread develops I am getting crosser and crosser with your OH who clearly does not do what you do, OP, and put this little boy first. Kicking him out of a bed at HIS grandparents? He is being given mixed messages. I would also suggest seeing a solicitor - your son is getting angry and your ex is a significant cause of it and he won't accept it. I would ask the solicitor to request that your son has access visits to his dad when no other children (ie GF's children) are there in order to develop a confident and fruitful relationship with his dad and NOT be 'one of a crowd'.Does your DS have to sleep over at your EX's?
I think it might be worth just letting DS spend just the day with your EX for a while and not the weekend - would that be possible?
If it has got to the point where your DS is hitting out at you because of his dad then I would personally stop him going there until your EX realises he needs to pull his finger out and put his son first.
You have to deal with the consequences after all. Like you said, you have to pick up the pieces.
I'd go to a solicitor and see where you stand.

Lol like this xxThere's this place in me where your fingerprints still rest, your kisses still linger, and your whispers softly echo. It's the place where a part of you will forever be a part of me.

and when you TELL them what they need to do they look at you as though you are deliberately trying to ruin their time with the kids!
When exOH and I split I told him that if he takes the kids on holiday it has to be during school holidays (because as the parent with care I'll get the Ed. Welfare Officers round here!). No problem.
He doesn't take the kids on holiday at all.
HE goes abroad, with g/f.
