:T  Well Done BRZL:beer: :T
guess that means that you will be saving even harder than ever. I was terrible when we heard we had this place, picking out how i wanted it to look. I did DH's head in completely as i have a tendency to get a little obsessed. Luckily you'll be able to move in without any decorating.
I've managed 3 hours tidying up at work, and a trip to the shop, but now i'm in slob mode. I feel so fat and bloated, but that is my fault for drinking a whole litre of strawberry milkshake. I knew i would feel like this so why didn't i stop?? Think i need an afternoon snooze before tackling anything else strenuous.

Well, got to get all the relevant financial and legal stuff sorted ... once I've received the formal written offer from the HA, and accepted it, I then have a target to exchange within 6 weeks as there's a financial incentive for doing so

The councelling app't was an assessment today. She asked lots of questions. I answered them. My councelling proper starts on sept 11th for 6 weeks. Thought this was the start of it so psyched myself up for not a lot really....

kiwichick wrote:Afternoon All,
Thoroughly p****d off this arvo. We applied for a 0% cc a few days ago and today have had a letter stating "Unfortunately we are unable to issue you with a cc at present. We asked credit reference agencies about you and the people you have a financial link with. The information they provided was used in our decision making. We recommend that you get a copy of this information........blah blah blah" So anyway, we applied in DH's name as I dont work therefore have no income etc etc. I assume that this means the info they refer to is about me. Now, I have never had a bad debt, a couple of late payments on an adams card once which were paid in full when I realised I'd forgotten them. I've had cc's in the past and a loan, mortgage etc, again all paid off in full. We've never been turned down before. Does anyone think it might be something to do with the house move. Either the big mortgage or possibly previous owners here????? The couple before us were young and ran into money trouble, could there be some sort of black mark against the address???????????????????? Does anyone know a better forum to post the question on?????
Hi kiwichick,
You should get some help with this if you post on the Credit Cards board, they really seem to know their stuff over there.
