Vicky and Ajax - BEST WISHES FOR TOMORROW

Not much happening OS world today, on a run of 6 out of 7 days at work, roll on Tuesday.....
Payday today, so a qucik look at the budget, very pleased with the month just up , will be able to transfer some extra into the saving account. Holiday money for September.

Well OH has just called so had better put tea on - not sure what though???

My TV has died & I can't get my nightly fix of Dermot O'Leary (am I the only one who finds him second only to Gordon Ramsey in the sexy stakes?) so I opened a bottle of wine to cheer me up, think I may have got a bit too cheery:o Now I've eaten Hubbys leftover birthday Chinese food & I think I am on a MSG high:rotfl::p:o:D:rotfl:

Rzl - Fantastic news - I'm so pleased for you....If you need any bedside tables for your new flat then give me a shout - I've got some I'm going to stick on freecycle at some point.

Lillibet - Ohhhhhhh no telly.......I would say come on down to Kent and watch with us, but you've had too much wine now! Got a spare portable in the loft if it's of any use???

Just popped on to say Good Luck to VickyA and Ajax for tomorrow, I hope your marriages turn out to be everything you could ever wish for.

Hopefully I can get back on here tomorrow. DS goes away on scout camp for 5 days. We had a lovely time at the Cotswold Water Park on Wednesday and West Midland Safari Park yesterday. DH's wages came into the bank today and I nearly had a fit, he hadn't bothered to tell me that he hadn't put his overtime in and we were £200 down! I did warn the kids that I might have to cancel a few trips out but lovely Mum who always works out when I am down about something gave me £40 today and she is going to give me another £50 next week so I don't have to disappoint the kids.

Just one trip booked for next week and that is a local one to Prinknash, I'm going to buy the kids a couple of scrapbooks so they can keep a record of everything we have done this summer and they can take it to school for the usual "what you did in the hols" question.

EEEEW!

That stray cat has just snook into my house again to steal some of the kitties food, and i noticed it had fleas (pretty easy to spot on a white cat). I really hope my two don't pick them up. Thank god i put fresh flea collars on them last weekend.

I'm still feeling absolutely stuffed from earlier, so i haven't bothered eating anything else. I have managed to box everything up that i was supposed to be moving upstairs. I moved some of it but got far too hot. My plan is to tell DH i couldn't manage. After all, there has to be some benefit to being 6 month pregnant.

DH is working tonight in Sunderland again so i am a bit bored. Might go and watch telly in bed. The kitties have already abandoned me to go exploring. Hopefully they won't catch any more as they have already had one today.

See you all tomorrow. Fingers crossed now for good weather (but not too hot) for ajax and vicky. It's all mega exciting at the moment isn't it.

Had a good day at MotorShow, kids are totally pooped out!! its aircon in the Excel, but the minis/bmws/rollsroyces were outside and it was hot when we came out! DS loves mini's (especially after seeing Italian Job original!):D
I sat in the new Alfa Romeo Spider!! nearest I will get to one!!:rotfl:
All those fab cars there and what do the kids love best......the Police Traffic Vehicle!!!!!:rotfl: oh and sat in one of those Hummers! crikey they are BIG BU&&ERS!!! but groovy. forgot also "Lightening McQueen" thank goodness - keep DS amused. He wants to see the film "cars" so will shall take him, his first time to cinema, he should be ok he's 4 now, sometimes they get scared when it goes dark dont they?

PenPen - glad u having a fab time in NY, would love to go there! Concerts - last nite was Jools Holland, that was good, tonite its Pink Floyd thing but its not as loud, can just hear the thuds!

lillibet - your spud looks lovely aaahh, re: tv - you might have to do a quick check on yr local freecycle to see if anyones getting rid of one so you can pop round tonite and pick it up!!

PP - glad yr OH&BIL enjoyed show, that was good getting free tickets to stunt show too! how come?? We took a packed lunch with us, also the Ford stand were giving out free orange/lemon/ribena squash - very welcome!!!! also they gave out orange ice lollies - but they ran out just as we got to the front!!! (so kids abit upset) but we then came home anyway. We didnt go on the Adventure Test Drive cos of the queues (not fair with kids) they were quite happy jumping in and all over the new cars!

Yesterday the whole of London was covered in very very black clouds - so thought big storm was on way - but we didnt get any rain? also the bbc website said there would be rain today, tomorrow, mon, tues - now it says no rain till sun/mon???? it seems to change every day!!!

Did anyone in the london region get any rain yesterday??? it must have rained somewhere with all that cloud????
