    Hello everyone!

Yes I am back, got my lappy late this afternoon, but have only managed to read through today's thread so far. The big news that bashed me on the nose is that Bargain Rzl got the flat. Aye aye yippee yippee yai! BargainRzl that is absolutely fantastic news! You'll have a ball shopping for house bargains - it really is the supreme challenge getting a flat sorted out within budget.

And of course the other big news is for Ajax and Vicky and their respective OHs. If either of you nip in on here on your last evening as single ladies then congratulations and all the very best for the future.

Nicky...your poor little girl...I really really feel so sorry for her, all those horrible spots and that itching. Poor thing.

My week off w*** has been fantastic, I really must have needed the rest. Did I miss the office...er, did I heck! The amount of money I spent this week would make your hair curl - £420 on lights/electrician and then £380 on blinds (yet to be fitted). These two projects had me running around like a headless chicken, specially the lights. The electrician wanted to come out and do the work the day after I phoned him. I expected him to tell me he might be able to fit the work in in about a fortnight or a month or something ridiculous like they so famously do. Of course I had to run off and buy most of the light fittings and just take the best of what was available. I'm really pleased with everything, specially my chandalier...it's gorgeous actually and really sets off the hall. When I move the chandalier will be coming with me as it was a half price bargain and I'd never be able to get anything as pretty, sparkly and glamourous for that amount of money again.

The local kids have been playing up again...today they were caught throwing stones over the back fence at cars going past. They managed to hit a number of cars, but one particular motorist who stopped was really upset. He had his wife and their little baby in the car, can you imagine if they had crashed or if he'd swerved into another car? These kids do this a lot - but I've had one of their mothers shut the door in my face as she could not accept that my complaint was genuine (like I would make it up!) so it's a waste of my time saying anything. I also don't want the kids to start picking on my house when I am out so while they irritate me intensely with their cheek and lies I try my best to ignore them. The motorist came round and spoke to one of the fathers - err, don't ask how he knew which house to go to:rolleyes2:whistle:.

    See you all tomorrow!

Yes I work for a radio station. 107.5 Sovereign Radio in Eastbourne. It's Spirit's sister station. You may have heard me on their news, as I often voice stories for them.

ooooh Scuzz, I live near Eastbourne but I confess that I always listen to your opposition - Southern FM :o

Maybe I should switch allegiance :D

    Hi everyone,

Just a quickie before I head off to bed.

Rzl Congratulations on getting your flat. :j

Vicky and Ajax Wishing you both a fabulous day tomorrow and I hope you both have long and very happy marriages.

I've just finished my week of work (I work seven days on and seven days off), so I'm relaxing with a glass of wine and having a wander around the boards. Sleep well everyone, lets hope it isn't as hot tonight as it was last night.

Morning Kiwichick and everybody to follow

I logged on ages ago but got waylayed with a nasty nappy (yuck).

Have a fantastic day Vicky and AJAX.

DD was up at 5.45 think shes getting another tooth. So that only another 5 after this one thank god, shes dosed up on Calpol and I've just put a pile of carrot stick in the fridge to chill.

First load of washing is out and second is in the WM. Going to change our bed later. House looks like a bomb has gone off in it and my House blessing didnt get done yesterday so I need to crack on and get it sorted.

DH is going to in-laws to help them build a deck. I'll proberbly go down there after DD afternoon nap. Better go and get on now before it gets to warm

    Have a good day everyone

Congratualtions Vicky and Ajax :T Have a wonderful day.

Rain at last here. Its a relief not to have to get up and water the garden. Although I woke up at 5 am with one of my cats coughing and sneezing badly. I am going to take him to the vets later.

Visitors coming later, so need to tidy the house and get a new pillow for the spare room as one short (don't know what happened to it!). Managed to get quite a lot of the food shop done last night at Morrisons reduced prices :D .
