Im a Moneysaver in Australia and my Lemon trees in my new house are in fruit (an abundance of it) So rather than give them away i would love to have some recipes for lemons that can use them up. My freezer has space for frozen items and i have a load of jars that can be used its ideas im out of!
My pantry has all the usual baking items in it - if that helps

Hi LashyLashla,
If you have lots of jars it's well worth making lemon curd. I use this recipe posted by Glad. It's so simple to make and it tastes fantastic.
Penny you forgot one:A

Lemon and Poppy Seed Cake is our favorite - only uses one lemon though so you may need to use a few.
Lemon and poppy seed traybake
cake:
41/2 oz soft baking marg
4 1/2 oz caster sugar
6oz white self raising flour
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3 tbsp milk
finely grated rind of 1 lemon
1 oz poppy seeds
topping:
4 oz granulated sugar
juice of 1 lemon
12x9" traybake tin lined with foil and brushed with oil. Preheat oven to 180c.
Beat all cake ingredients for about 2 mins until smooth. Turn mixture into tin and level top. Bake for 20-25 mins until golden brown and showing signs of shrinking away from sides of tin. Mix together granulated sugar and lemon juice and brush topping over surface of the hot cake ( while it is still in foil and tray)No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

Hi hasanyone got any ideas for using the leftover lemons we've used the skin and juice in a lemon flan and wondered if the leftovers can be used for anything maybe for cleaning. ThanksStarting to save £2 coins again, but it is a struggle:rotfl:Not doing very well keep spending them

Wizz one in your microwave to eliminate odours and pop one in your cutlery compartment in your dishwasher. I'm presuming it is not just the white left and there is a bit of rind and juice still lurking?0
