When you freeze lemons you can open freeze them and then place in polybags. It makes them easier to use then when they separate easily. I slice them and put them on a plate in the freezer. I also like lemons in chicken recipes like Simon Hopkinsons with galic and wine. Yummy!

Key Lime pie, mmmm - forgot about that one.

I will also open freeze the slices for my g&t's or coke (if I'm feeling posh lol). Love the idea of lemon curd, but after my fudge fiasco I think I might give it a miss - although it does sound really easy.

  • Yesterday in Morrisons I bought a bag of 6 lemons which were reduced to 29p - has anyone got any ideas for what I could do with them??

I did think of making some ice-cubs and putting a slice in each, but I can't find an ice cube tray - only bags LOL

you can juice the lemons and freeze the juice in individual bags so when a recipe calls for lemon juice you have some handy.

    Margaritas!!!

Just squeeze the lemons, add tequila, ice and triple sec or cointreau. Oh, and don't forget to dip the glass rims into the juice then salt. Mmmm!
