  • funny thing is we applied for my mum not knowing she couldnt claim it and they have sent the voucher ..but she cannot claim it anyway ..
They're only valid for 12 weeks so after that I assume they will reallocate it to someone else.

Thanks shirlgirl. A friend who has his own business is putting in the boiler. As he trusts us he could easily invoice us when/if the voucher arrives. Do you know of any other reason why he can't start the work?

I heard today that way over the 125,000 have applied. :(
I don't think there's any other reason, well except that you might not get one.

Got voucher today. Lets get moving now.

Except I cannot decide what to do for replacement fire - I hate those plasma screen things that hang on the wall, but not sure what to do to replace pretty dreadful adams style fireplace with HUUGE baxi back boiler fire sitting in it - in 1980s house with smallish lounge.

Gettin a new rad in our cold bedroom too :j

I originally read we have to pay £2000 but I wasn't asked the price on the online form and I don't think it matters. You can have any company do the work so long as they are registered gas safe which is the same number as accred number.

Yes it is, just enter the Gas Safe Number, thats what I did and I've got my voucher.

I can't find the efficiency rating for my Vokera Maxin 24e. Does anyone know where I could find it? I've tried the government and sebdac lists - it isn't on them.
