A quick question for those who got the "free HD box, free install and free HD pack for 1 year" deal .... did the letter that arrived a few days later mention the HD pack being waived for 1 year ? My letter just mentions the free box and free install.

Same here, but nothing is mentioned on the letter about packages or anything....
  • I have just signed upto this online via the link on page 7 or 8 it gave me the code went through to the website n signed up, I took a screen shot of the final order case they try and say they never got it or summet, Getting installed April 1st
  • I'm positively annoyed with Sky. I have been a customer of theirs for years. Me & my family went away for a week, came back and found our Box had ceased to work (no power & tried new leads). The box was beyond repair. Sky offered me a HD Box for £29 and Installation for £30. This was 2 weeks ago and they said this was the best they could do.

To find out that they have been offering all of the above for free, and for some time, makes me angry. I feel like jacking Sky in completely!!!!

    Grrr.....

If you signed up to the one going through the link, thats a different (and inmo a better) deal.. here's hoping it all goes through for you. Also as above, I'd love to hear about the letter as I'm still waiting for ours.

I called Sky to ask for my Mac code as I was wanting to migrate to another ISP.
Got put through to cancellations where I was offered free phone line rental for a year instead of BT who i'm currently with,a nice saving of £132 per year so went ahead and got SKY HD for the £10/month
Still got to pay the £60 connection charge. I've already got a Sky Plus box wired up so what exactly are they doing for the £60?

They come in, swap the box, call Sky to pair the viewing card (maybe with your phone ;-)) and leave.... Thats why I waited to until I was able to get free Inst!

They dont differ between Box-swap and hanging up a dish, incl wiring!
