Morrisons staff putting things aside.

  • Maybe supermarket staff complaining about having to do the job they're actually paid to do should try and look for something else or stop moaning?

i am actually very happy in my job, i enjoy meeting people, and will always help a customer, proberly got one of the safest jobs in the country with the current climate, all i am saying is sometimes in the superstores, a lot of staff on the fresh areas are under a lot of pressure to do the final reductions with time limits due to other areas of the store, i agree this is not the customers fault and should be taken out on the customer, but staff at supermarkets, are expected to do over and above the £5 per hour wage. If that member of staff was acting in the wrong perhaps she needs a change of dept or retraining.

I think I used to go out with her.

If you know where she is, can you tell her she still owes me twenty quid and if she can give back that Coldplay CD I'd be well grateful.

    Ta.

We agreed a price, just because you couldn't perform doesn't mean you are due your money back. It was your idea to put the CD there....and no I haven't seen it since!

I think it wouldn't have got to 18 pages if the nice amongst us hadn't said things like "Chil" and "I don't see anything wrong with it."

There was a post on here a while ago, blaming all the Asians/Blacks/Polish for "taking all the whoopsies'. Clearly the staff member was actually a Polish muslim with black grandparents ;)

How come when I go to the Polish shop to buy bread* I get treated the same as every other customer. surely they should have a security guard to follow me around the place because I don't look foreign.

*Polish bread is great, miles better than that Chorley Wood process crap I was raised on.

Bet you've heard the term "cheeky little buttmuncher" more than once.

    Cake

    How do I Bake thee,
For I would like to make

    A Cake.

Or perhaps I should buy one
    To Morrisons, please take….
    Me for some cake.

As I walk past the aisles,
I smile. And the smile tis not fake,
    For I spy cake.

Reduction gun, thus come, reduce my cake, my bun.

    Alas! Thy vile wretch!
    There must be some mistake,
    I am forsake -
    I came for cake.

And there was none, no cream, no bun.

An exit I now make, my heart does shake,
My fists now pound the ground, the rupture of the sound
    Creates a quake…
    I wanted cake.

I write to thee and smite, I fight,
The oven is alight with gas mark
Which flames into the cold, cold night.

Here lies Nigella’s book, I peek a look,
    And cook,
    Nay, bake.
    Most revered cake.
Do good deeds and you could raise the curtain, do good deeds and you could really raise your life....

Cannot believe this has run to 18 pages. I suspect this happens all the time in shops, the OP just had the misfortune to hear the staff talking about it. I've twice ordered bargain items at Currys using Ring and Reserve, only to either be rung up and told it wasn't available or find it wasn't there when I got there. I reckon the staff decided to have them.

I've also been at shops practically as they've opened to find that they are strangely already out of stock of some advertised bargain.
