I only became aware of this thread because of the OP's other tantrum where he said he would no longer visit MSE because he didnt like the responses he'd received on here :rotfl: My 8 year old is less stroppy

 The staff member, from what Tribulation has said, was obviously having a bad day, new full well why Tribulation was hovering and knew he wanted the cakes reduced, but because she was in a crappy mood, decided that he wasn't going to have the goods! Not on her watch!
That's clearly bull,if anyone was in a bad mood it was him (and add strange behaviour to that too):rotfl: christ,if his own wife had no clue what he was doing then how on earth was the assistant expected to?And come on,she took longer marking down the scones to put him off the cakes?
Fact rather than crazy assumption because he didn't get his cakes would be nice!Even then the facts don't tell us anything apart from the fact he put them back, intended on buying with nobody else realising he was going to and she took them out the back (again nobody knows why)
Boy,what awful customer service not to be able to read minds, listen to strange people talking to their wives and to not tell a random customer where you are going with a box of cakes:rolleyes:If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -

To be fair, some of the responses have been pretty childish too!0 -

Uhuh! But perhaps his wife did know! And it was a conspiracy...and in fact she was in on it with the assistant? You know....trying to drive him over the edge... Perhaps they both saw him put them back...and then she took them back....and I think it's obvious why....it's to drive him loopy....much the same what you are doing to me right now.....do you know the shop assistant?...:D0 -

Perhaps the shop assistant is his wife's lesbian lover................

Just came across this thread.
I work in Morrisons, and generally about an hour before my store closes, things start to get reduced. By the time it's 10/15 minutes to closing staff walk around the store with a trolley with the reduced stock on it, trying to sell it to customers, otherwise it goes on our wastage for the day (add that to the wastage from the customer cafe, staff canteen etc..its always high) So generally us checkout staff get pushed into buying whatevers left by members of management so that these things don't go on waste sheets, and these sheets being sent to head office.
I've seen another member of staff being asked to buy a roast chicken by a manager, reduced to £1, she replied she only had 50p on her at the time. Manager said no bother i'll put it down to 50p, just to get rid of it!0 -
your quoting yourself? isn't that a little narcissistic?
It was because you thanked me for my previous comment. I wanted to make it clear that i think your comment was completely out of order. Throwing insults like "retard" at people (particularly for venting on a VENTING board) is pathetic, rude and bordering on abusive. There really is no need for it.0 -
