Oh heavens no! Not everyone is wrong! The one's that are wrong are those rediculing Tribulation about his 79p cakes, while totally missing the point about putting the customer first! :D

GR you disappoint me...where is the proof that the Assistant removed the cakes for thereselves? It's all assumption...you really are better than that post.
Thank you. I don't want to get into this any further as I feel much of the arguing on this thread has been completely unnecessary and it's not an issue I would usually be interested in. But, if the item was marked down, there would be no other reason to take it into the back that I can think of (as someone who did this job for a couple of years during my student days.)

If she just took it into the back, without marking it down in price, it could have been out of date or damaged. But she's decided it was fit for sale, put a price on it, then removed it. The only reason I can think of to do that was to buy it or give it to someone else to buy perhaps.

Perhaps I'm wrong. I don't know. I do know that the OP vented on the 'vent' board and she's been given a bit of an unnecessary hard time over it. It'd be good to see the thread maybe drift quietly away...:o

..or priced it automatically and then realised it wasn't fit for sale and there fore removed it in order to avoid a possible problem?...is that possible perhaps?

    Gordikin.

I would say that is highly possible, afterall we cant rule anything out can we.who knows it might have had penicilin growing on it.

Nobody really knows nor shall we because there is another thread where the OP has made a dramatic exit, quoting the frivilous nature of the replies.

Again GR you disappoint...if you post on online forums you should expect different points of view..that's the nature of the beast. I'm 50/50 on what happened and I'm certainly not going to agree with the OP based on telepathy.

Yes I saw that...but maybe they will return when they realise they were being perhaps a bit sensitive?
